After 25 years in the industry - on both sides of the fence, I have yet to come across a scenario like this. I recently spotted an issue with Buzz Bingo Affiliates, where StatsDrone identified an FTD, and Buzz Bingo Affiliates on their backend did not.

It's a long story (27 emails +) with their hostile affiliate manager, and despite being led to the water, is still unable to comprehend or ignore data reality.

They set us up on a 20% revshare deal from May 24 after they removed us from a hybrid deal. The new deal (20% revshare), was, according to them, set up incorrectly, and this was the reason we were earning nothing, and the data was not showing.

When I checked the back-end reporting, it told a totally different story. We had both FTDs and Revenue share, and they were displaying nothing.

I had to repeatedly correct the Affiliate Manager, who consistently sent incorrect reporting. After she finally sent me some earnings figures, she arranged to have a meeting with me, which I assumed would be for her to thank me for educating her.

How wrong can a person be?

She claimed that my emails were confrontational and that, as we had not met the T&Cs of the program, they were closing our account.

Well, if you rely on their 0% and zero reporting standard, that would be the case, but if you actually look at their backend reporting in IA, you see 24 FTDs on their 20% program since May 24. Granted its not a ton, but it is a 20% revshare. She quoted 8 FTDs in the same time period.

This had made me lose my rag. Be careful of this bunch - they are shaving, and when caught, they quote T&Cs and terminate your account.

This bunch run Buzz Bingo and Buzz Casino in the United Kingdom.

I'm a little surprised at this behaviour.

Unfortunately, I predicted that the increased taxes in the UK was going to lead to brand closures, brands exiting the country completely, players getting less value and I believe affiliates were going to get shafted along the way. I have already heard of numerous affiliate account closures and it is unfortunate this is another example of it where programs know that account closures mean players get kept without paying further commissions.

If any affiliate is reading this and wants shaving analysis done on their account, we are in the process of rolling out a program to help monitor and detect it.
