To me, the #1 SEO tips will always be backlinks. Backlinks backlinks and backlinks.

1. Backlinks
2. Good domain
3-5. Other on-page factors, title, description, tags, keyword/content, internal links etc.

But getting backlinks for a gambling site will be the most difficult task, don't you think?

can you really still rank for having tons backlinks with no good content?
would a less well written article with more backlinks rank better than a better written article with less backlinks?
or has google caught up?
