Webbpage content and design - For the visitors or SEO (just publish it!)

Hi folks,
You guys (n girls) ever think of your visitors or just publish content and updates the design for SEO only?

Lately i have noticed that a bunch of good quality sites has started publiching non sence - 700+ words 2 inlink articles every other day and having some easy to fix issues with their design but nothing happens.

Is "content is king" nowdays just clicking on the publish button as soon as there is something to publish or do anybody care of really making articles that someone can find interesting and actually read?

Also, do you guys think "i put a casino table here and move the div's down so i can rank better on google" - Even the table design is halfdone and the site actually dont look good with it?

I agree completely. If you are going to fill your site with content, at least make it readable :/

If you talk about the content of your website (your work, your baby, your asset..), why not to do it for both - robots and people? What is the difference in price - a couple $? You have to find a good copywriter, of course, cooperate with him/her what he/she'd write, but then is not so much difference there..

I agree, make sure that it is good for the reader and good for google.
If you do not write the content yourself, make sure that the article writer knows seo in order to provide you with what you need.

Regarding the posts and their back links, it is a common method to integrate the links in the posts as they carry a lot of value.
