yeah, it is hard to know who you can trust and who you cant.

The industry was never like this. Unfortunately progress has made it a LOT easier to enter the market. Hence, this attracts scammers etc., etc.

Point in question... Topboss (Heather) over at GPWA seems to have been scammed by a GPWA member...

Do I Name and Shame GPWA Member or Not?

I'm very sorry to hear about this situation with a non-paying client...
Sometimes it's really convenient to use Upwork as if the payment was requested creator would definitely get money.
