Hi everyone,
I want to share our experience with Shogun Affiliates, because we believe other affiliates should be aware of this situation.

We worked with Shogun Affiliates for around one year. During that time, our account was managed by Tanya, and overall the cooperation was good. Of course, like in many affiliate partnerships, there were sometimes deductions or adjustments, but whenever something happened, we were always able to discuss it and find a reasonable solution. The problem started after Tanya left the company.

After that, we were assigned a new manager, and the approach changed completely. The new manager started cutting our commissions retroactively. The most concerning part is that our April payment had already been approved by Tanya. We received confirmation for April, and our publishers had also been informed based on that approval. Then, in June, the new manager came in and decided to cut the April payment retroactively.

We can understand if a company wants to review May traffic or make changes for future periods. That is not ideal, but at least it can be discussed. However, cutting April after it was already approved is completely unacceptable in our opinion. We tried to resolve this fairly and communicate with the team, but instead of a proper solution, we feel like we were simply ignored and treated with zero respect.

What makes the situation even worse is that the CEO of the brand was aware of our traffic from the very beginning, so this was not some sudden issue that appeared later. The traffic was known, the cooperation continued for months, and the April payment was approved.

Then, after the manager changed, everything was suddenly revised retroactively.
