The new Swiss gambling regulations, which went into effect on January 1, 2019, allow Swiss casinos to offer their own online gambling products. However as of July 1, 2019, it also allows the regulators to block any foreign operator that hadn’t made partnership deals with local land-based operations.

Intercantonal Lottery and Betting Commission (Comlot) has published their list of blacklisted websites, and the Swiss Federal Gaming Board (SFGB) has as well.

Many European operators fill up the list, including Bet365 and Pinnacle.

It would be better (and shorter ..) if they published licensed brands.

From another article ...

Switzerland has officially issued its first online gambling licenses to four local casino operators and their online technology partners.

On Friday, Switzerland’s Federal Council rubber-stamped their approval of four casinos’ online gambling permits. The permits were previously approved by the Federal Gaming Commission (ESBK) ahead of the July 1 launch of the country’s regulated online market.

The four casinos are Grand Casino Baden and its sister venue Grand Casino Davos, as well as Grand Casino Lucerne and the Swiss Casinos group’s Pfäffikon venue.

....

There are still some hurdles before these first four licensees can launch their online operations, as the ESBK must certify the software of each operator’s respective online games.

So four local casinos only ... it's a local closed shop ...
