The Swedish Gambling Authority (Spelinspektionen) has endorsed a proposal to ban credit card use for gambling, aligning with other modern markets. Despite concerns from the trade association BOS about the potential market impact, the regulator sees the measure as necessary. Spelinspektionen also recently cracked down on unlicensed operators, continuing its strict market oversight.
