Hi Everyone,

Please note that we will be announcing via email a new earnings model that will be taken live on 1 January 2012. The new model will effect all new affiliates that register from this date.

All existing affiliates need to choose which model they would like to continue on. Please click on the button in the mail and let us know which model you would prefer. You only need to do this once.

We will send out communication over the next few weeks on a bi-weekly basis so that all existing affiliates are given ample time to make this important decision. Your affiliate manager will also be in touch with you regarding the change.

If you have any queries, please feel free to contact me.

Thanks

Regards,

Antoinette

Hi bonustreak,

Regarding the password, the system is set to force a password reset after 60 days, for security purposes.

Does anyone know how the new model is different from the existing one?

Whatever the case, existing affiliates should be given the option to remain on whatever model they are currently on. No unfavorable retroactive changes. I assume this group has learned this lesson by now.

Yes, the fact that you can choose is good. I've seen the new "model" this morning, and it is despicable. Once again the owners of this joint are trying to line their pockets at the expense of small affiliates.

The new model is one of those illogical plans that are based on how many players you send in a month.

Send 0-5 and you earn a whopping 15% of net on your entire player base! No thanks! The old plan was much more attractive to smaller affiliates. 15% is insulting.

Further, see this thread where Vladi made some great points about how this type of model can hurt you if you have a winner.

Summary: If you choose to continue promoting this group, definitely choose to remain on the existing model. If you don't choose, your account will be converted to the new, far-less-attractive model automatically.

Affiliates who can deliver lots of players are going to love this new plan - and big is clearly where SP want to be. They're at least being up front about the fact that they only want bigtime affiliates.

Just for clarity:

We would like to fill you in on some exciting changes happening at Star Partner. As always, we are looking for new ways to encourage our Affiliates to drive traffic to our casinos, so that you can earn more revenue.

What is it?
We are implementing a new earnings model for our Affiliates, starting on 1 January, 2012.

Commission will be based on the following formula:

Income Less Payouts, Bonuses, Progressive Contribution, Banking Fees, MGS Fees and Charge-backs

Commission will be based on the number of players delivered (see table below)

0-5 players 15%
6-10 players 20%
11-15 players 25%
16-20 players 30%
21-25 players 35%
26-30 players 40%
31-35 players 45%
36-40 players 50%
41-45 players 55%
46-50 players 60%
51-55 players 65%
56-60 players 70%
61-65 players 75%
>66 players 80%

Please note
This model works on a sliding scale and is based on delivery of players per month.
The numbers of players on this list are the first time depositing players delivered in that month.
All Affiliates who sign up from the date of implementation (1 January 2012) will follow this new model.
The special offer that we are running for the first three months remains in place, but the calculation is based on the above calculation for net revenue.

How Does it Affect Me?
From the start date all existing Affiliates will be moved to the new system. However, if you wish to remain on the old earnings model, you will need to send us an email before the 31st of December, 2011, and inform us of your wish to stay on the old commission system.

OR

Please make your choice now. Click here

As always, we would like to reiterate that our focus is increasing player attentions and maximizing your earning potential. We hope that our relationship with you will continue growing from strength to strength.

Should you have any queries, please feel free to contact us at any time. We assure you of our constant attention and support.

Warm Regards,
Star Partner Team

Current:
9.2.1. Net Revenue is defined as gross bets less payouts (calculated using the Client's software) less (i) progressive contributions (progressive games only); (ii) sign-up bonuses and/or promotions that may have been taken up; (iii) Charge backs and discretionary returns.

vs new:
Commission will be based on the following formula:

Income Less Payouts, Bonuses, Progressive Contribution, Banking Fees, MGS Fees and Charge-backs

Are they new fees being subtracted from the revenue before paying commission?

Never received that email for some reason - thank god i noticed this post on AGD.

I have obviously opted to stay on the old model.

I don't understand why one has to respond to stay on the deal they are already on - obviously it should be the other way around.

This model is ONLY GOOD FOR STARPARTNER.... unless you can sustain a high volume of players per month (new players). Notice it is 'players delivered per month', not the amount of players you have playing per month.

This means that you could have 50 players per month for 10 months... then when you drop in the SERPS and can only send 1-2, you get dropped to 15% revshare (which is really closer to 10% revshare after sharing their MGS costs, I'm sure).

This is VERY GOOD for STARPARTNER. Very good. They will make a killing off affiliates with this model.

Star Partners

I made the decision to dump them and a few other high profile Microgaming programs a while back and am happy that i did - yeah you effectively earn 10% after all costs etc - perhaps they do not need affiliates and are saving all this cash for media buying Ala Betwin
