External Marketing Suppliers Official Statment

External Marketing Suppliers Official Statement

We are a new operation and we are currently running a few campaigns with external marketing suppliers.

We have stopped some of those campaigns due to spam complaints received from some of our affiliates.

We unfortunately do not have control over what these guys do and the only recourse we have is to discontinue these relationships with them.

Due to confidentiality agreements, we are not allowed to divulge any info about who they are, but Affiliates should rest assured that the relationships with those partners who have not stuck by our terms and conditions have been discontinued.

Part of the agreements with them was that they would not damage our brand name due to spam or illegal activities which they clearly have done.

Please should any of you still have issue with this contact our affiliate team

wtf? You pay them. If you are anyway near a half decent business, they have signed a contract with you. Of course you have control over what they do. Don't try to pass the buck.

Part of the agreements with them was that they would not damage our brand name due to spam or illegal activities which they clearly have not done.

I think you mean "which they clearly have done".

I feel for them, I've recently used 3rd party marketeers for my sites, and the amount of grief they gave me was astronomical. Spam, CPA clicks.. the whole lot. It just hurt.

When you get rogue elements like this, unfortunately a company, or a website can look A grade. But when it comes to delivery.. thats where the truth lies.

And really you don't have any control, the only recourse generally is screaming at them. You can't take them to court.. it just doesn't become worth it.
