What do you all use for Site traffic and stats?

On the other sites I have (sites I maintain as a hobby for NFP's,) I've been using google analitics with the script added to the main template for the site so it gets loaded on each page.

What else is out there and what are the benifits / drawbacks of each (including Google Analitics.)

Thanks all!

I use Analytics some but I really like Mint. Easy to read all important stats on one page, lots of plug-ins, and easy to view multiple sites on one page as well. Mint: A Fresh Look at your Site

I used phpTrafficA

Its not the best, but it counts hits daily, referers, search engines, browsers, countries..

It could be more powerful, but as a log to find out where your traffic is coming from and what it is doing, its fantastic.

I use Google Analytics as my main one but xhttp://siteanalytics.compete.com/ and xhttp://gostats.com are also fairly good too.

I use Google Analytics, but I don't like Google knowing how many sites I have. I would prefer it if they could not associate my sites so easily. The reason is that I go through a lot of trouble to host my sites on different IPs and different countries trying to get a little more of my network.

Traffic stats are cool... We use analytics... if thats not enough data, for you, blow your mind on this software: Advanced Web Ranking.... it tracks your positions in the SERPs (across most search engines)

I am using it on the trial version.... it is pretty complex so I don't have it mastered at all yet, but just the basic data is amazing.

You can put in your website and the terms you want to rank for and it will track them daily *the positions in each SE

Advanced Web Ranking - search engine ranking, website position software

Yes, I like that one. I use that and another program that company makes called Advanced Link Manager. I renew them each year (kind of a drag to have to keep paying for them!), but probably only open them once a month or so.

Is there some way to schedule the updates I need to find? How does it keep up if you only open once a month? just curious.... thanks :]

I'm not sure about scheduling - never tried that!

What I do is I have my sites and competing sites' URLs loaded in there. I take the keywords from my stats that have been bringing me traffic and put them in there. Then I run the analysis. It checks those keywords across those sites up to 100 or so positions - on multiple search engines of your choice. And then you can compare any two dates that you've run the analysis to each other - it saves all the data and provides a few different ways of looking at it. So it makes it really easy to see if you've made some progress or fallen behind on keyword ranking in the search engines over time.
