Curious if anyone is having more success on youtube than google seo in 2026. I know the age restrictions are an issue on Youtube right now for online gambling content but the videos still come up in search on youtube even with age restrictions. Also curious if anyone is killing it on instagram which is a grind but still pretty wide open for what they allow on there. Lets get this thread going and share whats working right now. Im currently mixed between youtube and google seo.

Hey @eddiep20, thanks for starting this topic!
It’s a really interesting one, especially with how much things are changing lately. I’d genuinely love to hear how other members of the community are approaching this in 2026, what’s been working better for them, and whether they’re focusing more on SEO, YouTube, or a mix of both.

Short form gets restricted alot on youtube shorts and tiktok is basically dead for gambling. Instagram is the only thing that works for short form right now in my opinion, but its still worth adding into mix because you can get leads from it via instagram. Everything else is dead unless someone else has had success still in 2026 on tiktok or youtube shorts

From what I’m seeing, YouTube is outperforming pure Google SEO for newer affiliates unless they already have an established authority site. Google SERPs in gambling are insanely competitive now and AI overviews are eating a lot of informational traffic, while YouTube still gives smaller creators a chance to rank if the engagement is good.

The age restriction issue is annoying, but like you said, the videos still surface in YouTube search and even in Google video results. A lot of people are adapting by focusing more on analysis, strategy, casino UI reviews, bankroll discussions, and streaming-style content instead of aggressive promo angles.

Instagram feels underrated right now too, especially Reels. The organic reach can still spike hard compared to traditional SEO, but consistency matters way more there. Short clips showing wins, reactions, game mechanics, or quick comparisons seem to outperform polished “affiliate ad” style content.

Honestly the strongest setup in 2026 is probably combining all three: YouTube for discovery, SEO for long-term intent traffic, and Instagram/TikTok for reach and audience retention. Relying on only Google right now feels risky with how fast search keeps changing.

How the heck do you manage to work with TikTok? It's aggressively moderated and any gambling content is restricted almost immediately. Youtube is ok but getting worse. As long as you fly under the radar it might be ok but sooner or later you are first going to get hit with age restrictions, which kill the videos, and then a shadow ban once they realize you are purely a gambling channel.

Instagram is pretty useless. Sure, you might get 50-500k views if you are lucky but it doesn't give anything in returns. It's only useful for brand awareness.
