Hello everyone.

I'm planning to release a brand new casino soon, and I created the in-house solution for affiliate management.

I've seen several audit reports here with incredible results, which I don't understand. There are several fees you need to pay to keep the casino running.

Let's break it down:
I deposited $25 via credit card, claimed a 300% bonus, and started playing with $100.
I played, and eventually, I lost all of it.

So,

Deposit: $25
Total of bets made: $130
Total of winnings: $30
Bonus amount: $75
Admin fee: Game provider fee: 10% of GGR (130-30) - $3.
Website provider fee: 5% of GGR (130-30) - $1.5.
CC PSP fee: 3% - $0.75.

NGR = 130-30-75-(3+1.5+0.75)=$19.75
From a $25 deposit, the casino's net revenue was $19.75. 19.75/25~79%.

50% Revshare is actually 39.5%.
45% Revshare is actually 35.5%.
40% Revshare is actually 31.6%.
30% Revshare is actually 23.7%.
25% Revshare is actually 19.75%.

I don't understand how some real audits show a 0.1-1% difference between the rev share and the actual number.

The admin fee is 10+5% of GGR, so it's $15 in this case, not $4.5, which even lowers the profit.
$9.25 from $25. 37%.

50% Revshare is actually 18.5%.
40% Revshare is actually 14.8%.
20% Revshare is actually 7.4%.

Just because you need to pay them, it doesn't mean they have to be paid with affiliate's money (plenty of programs have it at 0). We are here to drive extra traffic and extra customers, not a solution to how to run a casino for free. Affiliate sites have costs too, but I'm yet to see an affiliate ask for a 10% admin fee for maintaining their own site or cover any must have expenses like my Cloudflare bill.

Bottom line is if you offer good player support, good conversion, good retention and are honest with affiliates and players, rarely anyone would care about your true %.

Sober truth, affiliates bring in much needed traffic (depositing players) that casinos would not have, otherwise. There are old-timer affiliates here on AGD, who, have been in this industry for 2+ decades. Yet you come here and post this cr#p, trying to defend your own greed.

We're not ignorant, and we know these "Admin Fees" etc., etc., are just another way for an unethical operators, to fleece their partners, blind.

@xecutable - as my trusted, long time, very knowledgeable affiliate friend states:

doesn't mean they have to be paid with affiliate's money (plenty of programs have it at 0).

Fact...
  • Treat affiliates like they matter.
  • Treat your partners like people, not blips on a screen.
  • Don't attempt to scam affiliates with bogus fees and deductions.
Program who treat affiliates as they would like to be treated themselves, are the programs affiliates stick by.

Maybe you'll ponder that for a while ;)

I said I did not understand; That's more of a question than defending something.

Thanks for the answers, everyone.

Some costs are calculated based on GGR, some on the NGR and some from direct deposits for the operator as you explained. The difference is that for the affiliate the deductions and fees are often calculated based on GGR, creating this gap between "real revenue" and paid revenue.
