I think this must be adressed here since Roxy Affiliates is AGD approved.

Casino Affiliate Programs - Forum for Gambling Affiliates

Roxy closed the account from an affiliate who signed up 10 years ago, because they did not bring traffic in the past few month

Did not expect this from a program like Roxy

So, we affiliates who signed up years ago now all must fear to get our accounts closed if we cannot deliever enough traffic anymore?

This is just terrible. The prior terms and conditions of Roxy Affiliates do not stipulate any such action at all. You are also not the only affiliate this is happening to right now.

Roxy Palace Casino used to be one of the most reputable online casinos for many years. There have never been any serious issues but apparently they are choosing to be on the dark side now. What a shame!

I received an email from this group a few weeks ago telling me that my account will be closed due to inactivity. I was hardly sending them any traffic, and I'm so glad that I wasn't.

I have just successfully logged into my Roxy Affiliates account. Apparently they didn't close it. But it's too late now. They shouldn't have sent me a stupid email like that.

They are a total waste of space anyway - been promoting them for about 5 or 6 years and made 3/5 of diddly-squat!
They would actually be doing me a favour if they closed my affy account, then I would definitely remove them from my sites once and for all! ;)

I also received an email for this.

This casino, I long, does not work.
There are no promotions for affiliates, sent to players.
There were 10 pounds for new players only uk, and it did not work. It receives the new games promotions. But nothing that would attract players like slots freerolls or free spins. Or anything other.

If I close the account, it does not disturb me lol!

Please send your emails and some details of your account (stats images, etc) to me at:

[agdemail][/agdemail]

They are now marked as predatory and will be rogued if they are closing accounts and stealing commissions, but I need to see the proof of this first.

Thanks,

Andy

Unfortunately, I'm unable to find the email. I must've deleted it after removing all their links.

I didn't get the e-mail, but I don't fancy ignoring this issue and then getting the e-mail in a year's time. I have suspended a planned Roxy campaign today, and told them why.

Hi Andy,
I'd like to stress that accounts that have been closed have been managed on a case by case basis. Reasons for which have been discussed with the affiliates in question and I'm sure you can appreciate that that is the best way to manage this process. We urge any affiliates who would like to discuss terms and conditions to contact us directly where we will be more than happy to answer any questions and queries.

thanks

Claire,

Why would you close accounts of affiliates who sent you customers for a long time and who apparently did not violate any of your t&c?

Roxy Affiliate's homepage still refers to 'lifetime' earnings. I've removed Roxy from my homepage and main traffic pages today.

You can forget the 45% deal we agreed on. If it means ripping off other affiliates so you can pay me 45%, I'd rather go without, thanks.

You just lost one more affiliate than you intended.

For those who haven't noticed, there's a similar thread going on at GPWA, where Anthony has pointed out that Roxy's terms allow for affiliates being reduced to 10% revshare after three months of inactivity. Nothing in the rules that I've seen allowing Roxy to cancel accounts and steal due lifetime earnings. This is looking like outright theft.

Overnight, Roxy have screwed up their rep. And that can't be undone. Goodbye, Roxy.

Why close accounts at all? There is no reason for it unless fraud is happening. There also appears to be no clause in your terms that allow it. Please point me to a clause that allows this and let me know the reasons for the closures.

I have the same problem, my affiliate account was closed a few days ago.

Seeing that I was not able to connect I have sent a message to Claire who told me that having no traffic for several months, my account was closed but I could open a new account ....

I was affiliate from 2005 ... and all existing players are lost.

I have removed Roxy and will never reopen an account.

Her mail :

Merci

Cordialement

If the affiliate account is still generating revenue, then you (Roxy) need to continue paying the affiliate the agreed-upon percentage. After all, you wouldn't even have those players (or that revenue) in the first place if it wasn't for the affiliate.

Closing accounts and keeping all of the future residual income is not acceptable -- it's outright theft.

Roxy needs to honor their own T&Cs. There have been several changes to the terms over the years, but they need to to make sure they are following the applicable set of T&Cs, which depends on when the affiliate joined the program.

Someone who joined in 2005 should NOT have their rate set to 10%, nor should their future residual income be confiscated. Predatory things like that were never outlined in the old T&Cs, and the confiscation part isn't even in the current set of T&Cs.

This is very questionable behavior, and I will remove both their brands from my sites if they continue down this path.

We will be removing Roxy brands from all sites in the next week if we are not shown some sort of reason why we shouldn't!!

I demand the re-opening of all these affiliate accounts you have so roguishly closed as well as stating in public your intentions to honor affiliate agreements in the future!

Bunch of thieves is what your behaving like as of right now!
