Hello,

I was looking for online casinos to promote and send traffic for revenue share commission.

One of the famous brands (which has 3 casinos total and I'm sure, also read that they are using cross-marketing, yet still in the non-predatory list of AGD) offered me a 45% rev-share deal.

As the affiliate manager explained to me, they will calculate the total revenue of the players referred by me and pay 45% of the profit.

So, if player A's NGR is $1,000, and player B's NGR is -$750 (negative ngr) in one month, they will pay 45% of $250 (ngr sum), $112,5.

Question: Is it common and standard to calculate the revenue share of all players referred by the affiliate?

Also, if the player won, cashed out and the ngr is -$500. They said if the player reverses the withdrawal and loses, I won't get a commission, not from the reversed withdrawal and not from the deposit, as the reversed withdrawal is considered a bonus and according to ngr formula - commission is winnings-bets-bonus-admin fees.

Question: Same here, is this a common standard in the industry?

Thank you in advance.

Hello,

Regarding the 45% rev-share deal offered by the famous brand with multiple casinos, it's not uncommon for affiliate programs to calculate the revenue share based on the net gaming revenue (NGR) generated by the players referred by you. This is a standard approach in the industry, where the NGR is calculated as the total bets minus wins, bonuses, and any applicable fees. The 45% rev-share deal seems like a competitive offer and aligns with industry norms.

As for your second question, the scenario you mentioned regarding reversed withdrawals and their impact on commissions is also in line with industry practices. When a player reverses a withdrawal and subsequently loses the funds, it's often treated as a bonus amount according to the NGR calculation formula. This means that commissions are not typically earned from the reversed withdrawal and the subsequent play. While policies can vary between different affiliate programs, the concept of excluding such scenarios from commissions is indeed a common standard.

This is common and normal.
Programs pay on NGR Net Generated Revenue.
You should research here about the effective rate after all other admin or processing deductions.

If you don't like the swings of RS and don't believe in long term value.
You can ask for a CPA or Hybrid plan to supplement the early swings.
