I am just about ready to launch a new section of a website, please take a look and let me know what you think:

Free Slots

I do know that there are a few issues yet such as links that don't quite make enough sense under each free slots section... but it is almost there ;)

Thanks!

Looks good 8)

There was only the one thing that annoyed me and I checked it in a few browsers, is the fact that the Login pop up box would not disappear on its own and I had to click the cross and on your other pages (yer I went a browsing :)) were there is the slot filter and slot sorter my mouse run over them and they also would not disappear on there own, I had to push the cross.

Small issue that maybe only annoys me though :p

Looks good, a nice clean site with easy to use navigation. I checked it out on my MAC and the login box appears in the top right but was easy to close. Good job :)

You might want to create thumbnails instead of using the full sized image scaled down for each game.

The first two things that stuck out to me have been mentioned already. The first thing I noticed was the login popup in the upper right of the site. From a user perspective I was thinking, "I just got to the site why are they asking me to login?" my second thought was "do I have to login to play these free slots?". Obviously I knew the answer so I closed it. But to eliminate any visitor frustration or hesitancy I would suggest disabling the pop up, unless there's a compelling reason not too.

Secondly, the main page takes a long time to load the images. As Lovina said, using thumbnails instead of scaling the full images would be optimal. If case you haven't already, I'd run the pages through hxxp://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/ to check load speeds.

Overall, it looks clean and is easy to navigate. I like how you have the individual slot machine pages - nice size for the games and plenty of opportunities for players to convert. :emoticon-0164-cash:

Hey bud, you know me, all I have is some Es"e"Cherri-O advice for ya lol.

Where is says the number of reels and Wild, it is a hyperlink with nothing but a # used almost always for navigational purposes. These are OK when they correspond to a navigation point on the page, but with this many of them, I am afraid spiders my see them and self referential links with off anchors. A self referential link should be taken with great care, and there should not be too many on page or it look suspicious.

I understand that we are accenting their presence but I would find another way.

Your title tag on that page is "Free Slots" please add another term describing it more. I recommend "Free Slots - No Signup Online Slot Machines"

Your breadcrumb does not include the trailing slash in the url on that page.

In red it should read "Click (a) slot to play"

Install Yoast plugin and enable the option "Strip the category base (usually /category/) from the category URL" in the Yoast Permalinks sub-category. I find this the easiest way to get rid of it.

Lovina said you might want to make thumbnails... no. YOU HAVE TO MAKE THUMBNAILS. The load time on the inner page slotsonfire~/free-slots/~slot-list/ is ridiculous and it will most certainly hurt its ranking because each image is actually 800X600 and theres a lot of them.

-- I really like it though and I think it will perform well simply because it does a job and it does it well. It gives people the freeplay with no hassle. Very good overall good man.

No, my developer forgot to link them up... were supposed to go to pages where other slots had that 'feature' or 'number of reels' or whatever :(

Good, sound, advice. I would have gotten to that one eventually, probably should have already since I sent it to Google via webmaster tools already :(

will have to fix.

hmm... not convinced :)

No Wordpress here, my friend.

I'm having my developer give me a quote to do this. Hopefully it's not too hard.

Thanks! I appreciate everyone's feedback for sure. I'm going to work on all of the above.

Well if it's honest feedback you want, I guess I just have to give it...

Top left it says:
895 Online Slots
8 3D Slots
2 HD Slots
To me, this makes it sound like the 3D and HD slots are not online ones!

One of my "pet hates" - most "3D" slots are NOT 3D. If they were proper 3D slots you would have to wear special glasses when playing them.
(I think only 3Dice's games and MG's Sterling Silver are really 3D)

I can't honestly believe that the slots you show under each section really are the most popular slots - nothing like it IMHO. (I've never even heard of some of them!)

The 2nd, 3rd and 4th sections say "Slot" in the title - but it should be plural: "Slots"

At the bottom of each slot's page you have "Similar online slots" - sorry, but the only similarity is that they are all online slots!
(IMHO "similar slots" should have the same sort of features).

When I tried to play "Sugar Pop" - the slot was too big to fit in the window on my laptop (i.e. a lot too big).

Sorry to be hyper-critical - but you asked for it :p
Still a lot of work to be done to make it a top-class site IMHO.

I don't disagree.. just going with common knowledge and how people search for slots

I can't honestly believe that the slots you show under each section really are the most popular slots - nothing like it IMHO. (I've never even heard of some of them!)

Yeah, that's because the site is relatively 'new' again. When it was hustling and bustling, people were 'voting' for their favorite slots all the time.. this is what makes up the popularity of the slots (along with views). Just the way the site works.

The 2nd, 3rd and 4th sections say "Slot" in the title - but it should be plural: "Slots"

yes, yes it should :)

At the bottom of each slot's page you have "Similar online slots" - sorry, but the only similarity is that they are all online slots!
(IMHO "similar slots" should have the same sort of features).

It is based upon features, reels, all that stuff. Example... go to Immortal Romance and you will see the 'clone' of that slot, Thunderstruck II (& Dark Night Rises I think is also similar). But, I will have to see why some of the others are in there maybe.. there is an algorithm, should be close - but maybe not perfect.

Immortal Romance Slot Machine

When I tried to play "Sugar Pop" - the slot was too big to fit in the window on my laptop (i.e. a lot too big).

I think all you need is 1028x764 resolution for it to work... what you got there, KK, a 'green screen'? 400x300? :) Just kidding around - but let me know what you have.
