Referback has tanked for me for a long time now and I am thinking of removing them. What are everyone's experiences over the last couple years?

I cannot complaint
It took us some time to make money with them,
but now we do earn constantly.

Well, for me they did ok for the exposure they got for a long long time but then they tanked. At first I attributed it to UIGEA, but since most other MGS properties have resumed a normal performance for over two years now, and Referback is stagnant, I don't think I can support them on the site anymore.

I have never really done anything with Referback even pre UIGEA. They have however been badgering me for the past year for more exposure.

But to be honest I'd rather give prime exposure to those programs that I know convert well.

Or try out really good new programs - Jackpot Party for example.

Waste of web-space. :(

2009 total earnings: $202
2010 total earnings: $116

Dumped them earlier this year when they put their welcome bonus up from the standard MG of Bonus x 30 to x50.
Things were already terrible - and that was the final straw for me.

One of the better MG's IMO. But I have noticed (with most MG's in fact) that the way I "sell" them has had to adapt over the past couple of years. As I noticed revenues dropping off, I moved further away from generic observations and into specifics and most notably, differentiators which seems to be starting to have the desired affect.

We're doing some more with them in recent months and results are picking up. They have also improved their websites enormously in the last 12 months which helps conversions.

They are basically Microgaming btw (pretty sure the Microgaming founders started Referback).

Have they treated well, you bet!

I agree they don't convert as well as other MG properties I promote but they do convert. And like Simmo I agree, it's finding that sweet spot which maybe no one else has targeted and using that as a spring board to increase conversions.

Can't see it mentioned so I'll add...Once a player is tagged to you at Referback they are tagged across the entire network of gaming properties. Which can be a challenge if your hitting market that's been heavily marketed to with their products.

For me it comes down to who I trust and I certainly trust Shane, Cobus and others at Referback.

never make anything from these, to be honest i nearly always end up deleting their emails or not reading them. can't stand pushy affiliate programs.

Ah the downside of the opposite situation to Casino Rewards! ;)

Can't get decent conversion rates anymore.
Had a few ok months in 2010 but not since...we don't promote them heavily though.

My stats since January:

Visits 2771
Downloads 1355
Opens 41
Actives 11
Commission $1349

Despite the limited data, which makes statistical analysis difficult, the commission I am getting is very low compared to other MGs I promote.

An extra difficulty here is the poor reporting - there is no individual player data or information on the deposits players are making, so it is really difficult to get an idea why the earnings have been so poor for me.

Player's value is lower if compared with other Microgamings, can get $1,5 per click we send. We improved their positions last month and got better results - more than $3 per click.
In average, Referback is definitely in our top 5 non USA programs.
