Newbie question again:
I started a few months ago with Betting Partners mainly because I'm in the world of sports betting and figured I should be earning ongoing money from people signing up for Bovada through me (vs the "refer a friend" program).
So over the last month I've had 6 sign ups, 3 deposits. 2 depositors were small, $20, $50 depositors, and I haven't made much off their action. Then out of no where someone, I assume the 3rd depositor, deposited over $1,200 over a 3 day period and cranked through about $20K in casino bets, earning me $200 roughly on the NGR.
So question being, I know this is obviously about as small of a sample size as could be, but is that kind of how things go? Aside from getting people to the site and having them sign up, then what they do is out of my control, and sometimes you get a big bettor, but mainly you get the $20-$100 people who maybe sign up, deposit, lose their money then move on?
Don't get me wrong, I was/still am psyched someone showed up and has made me $200 in basically my first month. I'm trying to get a sense of if this is an anomaly, or no, thats kind of how it is, occasionally you get a bigger bettor and the name of the game is just getting volume and numbers of people signing up, of which some will make you more money than others.
Side question to that - has anyone has someone sign up and just bet ridiculous amounts that were surprising? For example signs up, deposits $10K and just keeps losing and depositing more? I know probably not likely or often at least, but there has to be a few cool stories of someone randomly getting a whale of sorts.
Thanks in advance for any input, insight. Still feeling everything out and working on integrating the salesman/marketing side of affiliate marketing and getting people to sign up.
