Hi Guys

Just been looking at the four 'Platinum Certified Programs', but couldn't see any obvious link on the page to find out what this Certification actually means.

Does it mean that these four programs came top out of all of the ones you've looked with respect to their terms, conditions, customer support, reputation with affiliates etc?

Cheers

I will make sure the homepage reflects the meaning of Platinum Certified Partners. I made an announcement as to it's meaning here:

They are paid sponsors. However - no program can become a sponsor unless they meet the metrics in that post. So - if a program's terms are not affiliate-friendly, they will not be allowed to become a sponsor.

Additionally, they must pay affiliates on time, must communicate with their affiliates reasonably, and cannot have a casino which is rogued at CasinoMeister (tm).

Cheers guard dog,

It would be great to have a link near to them to help explain - a "what does platinum certified mean" link or something similar.

I know that other forums have had a huge amount of debate/flack for not being transparent about this type of thing and it would be a shame for a quality site like this to be dragged into the quagmire...

Done. Please check the homepage, there is a link in that header box which goes to the following page:

Great job, I think it's really important, especially given some of the stuff that's going on again.

I wonder, just to make the whole 'certified' thing totally transparent, whether you should link the graphics to that page too? I say that, because many people will never go to the home page and only ever visit the forums, so they may never get the opportunity to see what a 'platinum certified' program really means.

These are the graphics I'm thinking you could hot-link to your explanation page to:

I'm really not trying to be a pain in the **** here, but I am concerned that you don't get caught up in this whole mess that just seems to get worse every day - you know, the other one that uses the term 'certified' for a paid for sponsor

Cheers, hoping not to cause offense, just want to help...

No offense taken at all :) Yes, that is the plan. The only difference in what you talk about and the plan is this:

I am working on a system whereby any program with the PCP seal will have that seal hotlinked to their certification. That certification will show why the program was able to become a PCP. This will include the certification metrics as well as the sponsorship payment information.

I will hotlink the logo on the side banner immediately (well, it will take a few minutes or more).. The other seal-delivery system is under development and not quite completed yet. But it WILL be implemented. I want nothing but transparency, which is why the first document was created.

I hope that makes sense to everyone.

Great work, this is really good to see - your site does, imo, lead by example

Cheers
