A recent GambleAware survey shows that 74% of UK adults favor stricter regulations on social media gambling ads, with 72% supporting similar measures for TV ads. The findings highlight significant public concern over the volume of gambling advertisements and their impact, particularly on children. The survey reveals that 24% of respondents who gambled in the past year acted on gambling ads, a figure rising to 79% among those with gambling problems. Moreover, 51% found it difficult to watch professional football without feeling the urge to bet due to these advertisements.

Very Interesting, unfortunately, the licensed casinos are going to be the ones hurt because there are plenty of offshore casinos that won't follow those guidelines.

It can be overwhelming tbh - but - hey Macdonald and KFC ads are everywhere too - wonder how that has impacted obesity in the UK - as edgarf76 states - this just works to the benefit of offshore casinos
