The findings highlight significant public concern over the volume of gambling advertisements and their impact, particularly on children. The survey reveals that 24% of respondents who gambled in the past year acted on gambling ads, a figure rising to 79% among those with gambling problems. Moreover, 51% found it difficult to watch professional football without feeling the urge to bet due to these advertisements.
