Thank you to Franco to helping with the terms and conditions certification for VJ Affiliates! Welcome to the AGD forums!

VJ Affiliates opened it's doors in late 2010 offering promotion of the very unique Vera and John Casino. The affiliate program uses Egass affiliate software, which offers an excellent backend to both banner management and reporting. Their affiliate reporting system is one of the better in the industry (IMO) and offers common stats reporting as well as player transactional reporting.

Vera & John Casino opened in 2011 and offers a wide array of gaming, including: Net Entertainment, Microgaming, Betsoft, IGT, PlayNGo, and NYX games! This is a very unique casino and well worth a look.

Revshare is 25-50% with no negative carryover.

I was wondering if AGD or VJAffiliates could clarify exactly the percentage of revenue they deduct as fees before calculating commissions? I asked them this a long time ago and the answer was evasive and non specific so I never ended up doing anything with them.

    I'm referring to this term:

In my experience most Net Ent licensees charge a minimum 20% in fees before commission so it can make a huge difference to your income.

30% and we have never been evasive about it.
Just send to me who/how/when the question was asked so I can find out what was answered.

Thanks - and VJ was evasive because whoever I spoke to previously refused to tell me when I asked. But no matter, thanks for letting us know here and now.

As some programs pay commission on gross revenue and others pay on net it helps to compare apples with apples. Here are the VJ commission tiers as % of both net and gross revenue (VJ net is 70% of gross after the 30% deduction):

    0€ – 5.000€ : 25% net = 17.5% gross
    5.001€ – 10.000€ : 30% net = 21% gross
    10.001€ – 20.000€ : 35% net = 24.5% gross
    20.001€ – 30.000€ : 40% net = 28% gross
    30.001€ – 50.000€ : 45% net = 31.5% gross
    50.001€+ : 50% net = 35% gross

    Thanks for bringing that up.
I was just thinking about adding them to my sites - but for just 17.5% I don't think I'll bother... :(

Do you know which other NetEnts apply this 30% fee?
Could be I'm promoting others who do, but didn't notice.

Almost all of the Net Ent casinos have these charges. I can't think of one that doesn't. Not all of them declare the exact rate in their terms but it is usually 20-30%.

To be fair if you point this out, most programs are willing to set up a special flat rate deal or something (don't accept anything less than 40% minimum). The games they have released over the past 2 years or so are outstanding and players love them, so don't dismiss them all just based on the commission rates.

    Hi guys.

First of all very sorry if I am pulling up a very old thread. It is just because it’s about plain partners and their charges. And this thread is in their column.

Hope its okay just instead of opening a whole new thread?

My issue is I have not contacted them about it. But remember Vladi and KK discussing their crazy charges of 30% you only get 70% Gross revenue.

My issue is can this really be right. This month there has been deposits of total of £2117.07 and my stats shows Net Revenue : £1264.98??

    But if it is 70% then that number should be : £2117.07 – 70% = £1481.94 (only 59%!!)

    So that is £1264.98 minus £1481.94 = £216.96 less than the 70% ???

I have got an improved revenue deal which I am happy about but seriously they are deducting almost half for charges etc. ???

Seriously that cannot be right can it? Should I contact them about this and complain?

My other question to you very experienced affiliates does it also mean if a player deposits and wins lets say £1000. I will only have to cover the revenue deal percentage if I had 30% then that would only be £300. BUT then my question do I get to take charges off the other way around. So that other deduction of charges also helps us affiliates? So when a player wins big or gives us minus revenue. Then clearly it should count the other way as well then?

Sorry go it bit mixed up but hope you get my draft here. Hope to hear from you experienced affiliates and of course especially you KK and Vladi.

Could it be one of my very active players is from Germany and I think to remember they also have that silly tax like UK players? My other active players are from Finland, Sweden and Norway.

PS no players has won anything this month so no deductions could be reason either.

You seem to be getting yourself confused here: Your commission is a percentage of the Net Gaming Revenue less fees - NOT the total of player DEPOSITS less fees.
Players do win sometimes you know!

Even if players don't win and withdraw, if they have a positive balance at the end of the month - this money is not included in the figures.

e.g. Player deposits £1,000 - plays and loses £500 - then stops playing until the following month, leaving the remaining £500 sitting in his casino account:
The Net Gaming Revenue is only £500, not £1,000.

It all evens out in the end - some months you could have NO deposits, but still have earnings due to carried over funds in player accounts. As long as the program does not have NCO (V&J don't), it's still a very fair deal for affiliates IMHO.

Thanks KK I get you. I was to quick jumping my gun. I fully understand how it works should had used my brain better.

Also yes I already know my revenue is not calculated from deposits alone. What I ment is V&J have 70% of net gaming revenue. And from checking stats this month all results has given positive revenue. And same players has made deposits again. (I used players transactions to check this so I am of course convinced that players lost their deposits) - BUT then again Vera&John have their coin system and reward system. My question would be does that then reflect as hidden negative revenue if a player gets a cash bonus or free spins through that. Also they have their slots tournaments. I better ask Plainpartners about that :)

This is why I really wished all affiliate programs would have all stats showing for each player available. So should show deposits AND withdrawals, bonuses , cash or gifts given to player which would effect. And also of course charges and admin costs.

Basically everything should be listed so easy for us affiliates to work it out. As mistakes happen and you just never know if you get correct payments from many places.

This is the key to ALL affiliations - it is ALL, and I mean ALL based on trust.
There is virtually no way to know for sure if ANY program is ripping you off.
If you don't have at least 95% trust in a program - dump 'em!

I think the practice is to trust no one. The only thing to trust is $ per click. That's it.

I'm confused now... Does VJ pay commission on GGR less 30% or does it pay commission on NGR?

I will just try my luck here, although I won't hold my breath.

I have sent numerous emails over the months (20+) about my missing payments, all emails have gone unanswered, almost as though they are being ignored. I have sent emails to all emails listed on the contact us page, and also used the contact form, yet still no answer. I would like to speak to someone about my missing payments.
