I enjoy your posts, sometimes I find information in them - I even PM'd you about SEO in the past and always felt that you talked from a place of experience. When you do this kind of stuff, you discredit yourself.

fact: between our site and casino city, no one else has held the #1 spot for "casino directory" spot in about 8 years. So you're not even being truthful.

Please don't make the guard dog a "mean-spirited" site... that's not the way you found it when you arrived.

When you are to "blunt" or however you like to put it with new faces, they leave. I think AGD would like to promote a feeling of community. You remind me of the guy that punches his little kid brother and says "WRONG!" every time he does something different than you. Believe it or not most people learn through positive reinforcement, not getting knocked down every time they ask questions.

We definitely need and want to keep AGD professional. I *believe* that we have the most professional forum in the industry as far as our member list is concerned. We have a great deal of very good webmasters/affiliates here and the knowledge sharing is excellent.

Let's just keep it that way. The user in the thread, BTW, is in the AGD Mentor program and (IMO) is doing quite well. The statement:

'Actually just got my first depositer today'

proves that, I think

Hi All,

Even though this thread isn't directly pointed at me, it gives a few suggestions as to how the AGD forum should operate as a community. Which IMHO is a good thing!

Not looking for excuses but when your on the defense at most other forums you tend to shoot first, ask questions later.

Speaking for myself, I'll make a conscious effort in future to post my side arms at the door, before coming inside.

I wrote you a PM, and then found my way in here. I don't want any drama with you. After I posted this thread I was roofing and regretting that I had pointed to the thread of Percs at all because it wasn't really necessary to make my point and was going to do just what you said (create more drama).

So without any emotion, this is what I felt had occured:

Congratulating me to the fact that I am now #1 for a useless term seemed off topic and insulting - it had nothing to do with the thread. I knew that responding would simply derail it further. I just didn't think hard enough to realize this thread might become a spectacle of its own! (sometimes I'm pretty short sighted)

I respect your abilities, that's true. I asked you SEO questions like I do everyone I talk to, that's true. I've not had a lot of time to implement your generous SEO advice, that's true. And I'm also not dependent on it.

I think its important to understand that people have things going on in their lives beyond what you see on the screen. I'm a full time caregiver for my wife - sometimes things are overwhelming. Not taking your SEO advice has nothing to do with you... certainly not meant as an insult. If I had time, I'd do all sorts of things. I'm doing the best I can.

Also for the record I'm not an admin at AGD. It was a bad user name choice. I pointed it out once before, but it wasn't changed. So I can't ban anyoneand the last thing I'd want to do is ban you - one of my least favorite things that happens on boards are when valuable information filled members get banned. To my mind, you are a valuable member with good advice, interesting perspectives and a no-bullshit style. My intention was not to finger you (which I, dimwitted, did) but to try to get the mellow mood back.

Sorry to double post - I realize you are actually trying to be serious with your Kudos for getting #1 on that term? I've been back and forth on that term for so many years it seemed sarcastic. If I really got it wrong, it was unintended.

I must have gotten the idea it was sarcastic because it wasn't related to Percs thread and I had just congratulated Perc on getting ranked for some of his terms (that admittedly might not be high converting terms). Being that you didn't think it was a great term I held led me to believe that you were using that to make an offhanded comment about me or my opinion and what its worth.

I think its a waste to continue this thread... sorry I posted it
