The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) plans to launch a mobile app in December 2026, allowing players to verify whether online gambling platforms are properly licensed.
The initiative aims to help users identify legitimate operators and avoid illegal gambling websites. PAGCOR's board approved the project on October 8, including a proposed partnership with Development Bank of the Philippines Data Center, Inc.
Under the arrangement, the technology partner would develop, operate, and maintain the platform at no cost to PAGCOR. A six-month technical assessment will examine its security and functionality before full implementation.
