The New South Wales (NSW) Government is following through on its commitment to reduce problem gambling by implementing new gambling reforms, which include banning external signage indicating the availability of gambling devices in pubs and clubs across the state from September 1st, 2023, in an effort to minimize the harm caused by gambling and protect vulnerable individuals in the community.
