As everyone has no doubt noticed, there is a new look here in the forums. Quite drastic even. It is modeled after Windows 8 Panels and offers a lot of information within the header structure (which can be shrunk and minimized). While it may be strange at first, please give it a chance.. I will be asking opinions in another 2-3 weeks to find out overall impressions.
How to support AGD
Anyone who has been around AGD for any period of time knows that the forums are typically supported with my affiliate income. That income is near $0 now, so the site had become fully supported by Sponsors (both Affiliate sponsors and Affiliate Program sponsors). I spend all sponsorship dollars on site coding to bring new features (like you see today) and will continue to spend as much as possible bringing members quality information. With that said:
We now have 2 ways to support AGD:
Affiliate Program Banners - The banners INSIDE of each Affiliate Program sponsors are sub-affiliate banners (where possible). While this certainly is not a big income stream, it does pay for some of the requirements for incorportation and tax.
Casino Banners - There are 'Casino' buttons on the homepage of the forums that link to casinos for that affiliate program. This serves 2 purposes: 1. Offers another way to support AGD, with your casino play AND 2. If you check the box, we will track the banner click to ensure that the affiliate tracking system is working for that affiliate program.
We have REMOVED the casinos button from ANY program in the Predatory and Rogue groups. We do not wish to support those groups with subaffiliate signups or with casino play. This is automatic and will never be changed.
Everyone, please click on at least 1 of the 'Casino' buttons to see what I am talking about. It is very clear how this works if you read all portions of that display. I am not asking for you to click a casino - that is up to you. I just want to be sure we all understand the new system!
