I'll start with a disclaimer; we're not MyAffiliate and we're not nifty stats ( love this tool)

Unlike other verticals, iGamaing affiliates don't have the privilege of working with decent networks such as CJ or ClickBank. iGamaing affiliates need to contact dozens of affiliate programs and manage dozens of accounts on different software.

If you are an affiliate with more than 20 accounts I guess that you're already using a stats crawlers. if you don't use crawler you better start ASAP

what if I'll tell you that numbers lie?
what if I'll tell you that within a few minutes you'll get a better insight into your data?

How numbers lie?

assuming you got at least one revenue sharing or hybrid account. on the account report or your stats crawler, you see the following stats:

Code:
Date Clicks Singups FTD Comission
29-7 200 50 5 5,000
30-7 300 50 5 5,000

Sounds good, isn't it? let's try to drill down to a click level report

Code:
ClickDate Date Clicks Singups FTD Comission
15-5 30-7 0 0 0 5,000
15-5 30-7 0 0 0 4,500
29-7 29-7 1 1 1 10
29-7 29-7 1 1 1 300
29-7 29-7 1 1 1 -10
29-7 29-7 1 1 1 -200
29-7 29-7 1 1 1 -50
30-7 30-7 1 1 1 50
30-7 30-7 1 1 1 150
30-7 30-7 1 1 1 100
30-7 30-7 1 1 1 50
30-7 30-7 1 1 1 100
Total 10 10 10000

you can see that most of your commission came from one or two players and if you'll route your traffic to a different brand you'll earn more from the same traffic.

We're going live very (very) soon and I'm looking for 2 affiliates that will give us an honest review.

you can PM here or skype haim.uac

Thanks
Haim

posting a few Q&A that were raised on skype by a few members:

Q: When we go live?
A: Next week. we're waiting for a few marketing materials to be ready.

Q: Do we have a WordPress plugin?
A: Not yet, but we have it on our backlog

Q: what's the difference between us and other WP plugins such as Pretty links
A: Pretty links is not a tracking software, it Pretty Link plugin that happened to count clicks.
For us, tracking means that we track the visitor\subscriber actions from the moment a link was clicked on a up to the event that was made on the brand.

Q: Can we see your user name and password?
A: No. We've built a desktop application stats crawler, similar to NiftyStats so you credentials stored on your local machine

Q: Can we see your stats?
A: Yes. the stats crawler upload your stats (ONLY STATS) to our cloud service.
Q: Why would I trust you with my stats?
A: "trust is something you earn" - Don't trust us, test us.
Use the free version. choose one account, one link and one week (if you have enough traffic even 2 days will be ok).

What data do you see exactly? Sources? Will you be able to connect exactly how your customer's sites are performing?

What data do you see exactly?

do you mean as a software operator or as an affiliate? as a software operator, I can see exactly what the affiliate can see.

You're adding you're affiliate link into the software and you're getting a replacement link, exactly like any other tracking software.

Once you click the URL, the tracking system injects a unique variable (same as click Id but shorter).
*** as an affiliate, in most cases. you don't even know where to place the dynamic variable

using our stat crawler desktop application the stats are crawled from the affiliate program and uploaded to our cloud software.

once the data is uploaded we have full closure. we know when was the click, device, country, region, city. we know when was the signup and FTD.
for example; if we have late conversion FTD we know that. we can see that the signup was 3 months ago. so if the deal was changed during those 3 months we can calculate earning based on the old deal.

for revenue sharing account its even more awesome. you can see the deposit amount per player. so you can see the lifetime deposit amount and many more.

Will you be able to connect exactly how your customer's sites are performing?

Yes, but we can't do anything with it.

there are lots more information you can add. for example, was its home page or casino review or game review? which game review was it?

I'm not allowed to post links but I would love to give you some demo links and a REAL use cases

Yes, you get lots of information about what works, what does not work, how well affiliates perform etc. That information is worth something imo. Information is power. Look at Google, FB etc etc.

There is no way I am giving away that information to a 3rd party.

there's a huge difference between Google, FB, and a PAID SaaS.
I bet the first thing you did on your website is to set up google analytics, because it's free and easy to set up. do you know how many PPC campaigners use your information to improve their conversion?

There is no way I am giving away that information to a 3rd party

A wise man said, "If You're Not Paying for It, You're the Product".
You're not giving your information away. You're paying for software that will help you improve yourself. that's why we have an agreement, we're not going to use your information without your consent.

It's not all or nothing. you don't have to shift all your traffic through a 3rd party software on day one, that will be stupid thing to do without knowing the software. But you can add one or two links and see whether it that worth it or not.

P.S.
that's not a secret that if you're doing SEO everyone already knows what you're doing.
Using tools such as semrush and ahref we can see whats your top-ranked pages, on which keywords and which brand is being promoted on those pages.

what they don't know? your conversion rate, when a brand is stop converting for you and when it's time to promote other brands.
but you don't know that either...

Exactly. And they are "free" services. You charge for your services and get all the data.

If I would find a very lucrative niche (long-tail) and wanted to keep the traffic for myself - you could see it all from day #1. And I guess you also are/were igaming affiliates yourselves? Maybe it is just me, but I just don't like that equation.

(I might be paranoid)

They are not free, you're just not paying with money. I could have given you the software for free, but then I had to use your data to make profits.

absolutely not. We cannot see that information, we cannot see the search phrases.

Yes, but I'm also a drop shipper and performance marketer.

It not just you. Most iGamaing affiliates think the same, but ONLY iGamaing affiliates.

There is not a single(!) performance marketer that doesn't use tracking software such as PostAffiliatePro, HasOffer, etc..
There are not drop shipper that doesn't use integration software such as Oberlo or Spocket
Affiliates on other niches use networks such as CJ, ClickBank, etc..

But now you both charge for it and can do whatever you want with the data.

absolutely not. We cannot see that information, we cannot see the search phrases.
Not search phrases but you can see what sites/pages work and easily take it from there. You will have an overview of what affiliate perform good and which ones does not. Are you sharing this data with any casinos?

Yes, but I'm also a drop shipper and performance marketer.
Which means that you could use the data (without telling anyone or anyone noticing) for your own iGaming affiliate projects, right?

what is whatever I want?
let say you have 2-3 and I know exactly what your traffic worth. what can I do with that information?
there are a few options:

1. on the redirection process I can move your traffic to through an HTML page with MY pixel and then remarketing to your traffic.
I can do that, but I can't hide it. so the moment I'm doing that you'll go to any affiliate forum and tell everyone that I'm stealing your data. and that's it, I'm burned on all industries.
2. I can "trade" you as a contact. I can contact and account manager and tell them that I know an affiliate that has badass traffic and if wants your skype he needs to pay $xxx.
without you consent, how long you think it wil last? 1 account manger? 2 acount managers? on the 3rd you'll call me cellphone and ask me if i did that.
Are you sharing this data with any casinos?

I'm an independent software. so I'm not going to share ANY of your data without your consent.

The only reason for me to share your data, and I'm talking on a very high level, with a casino is to get you deals, if you want me to.
for example; if an account manager is approaching and asking if I know affiliate with SEO website in DE. I'll contact you and ask you if you want me to get you a deal if you say yes, I can negotiate for you or just give you the contact.

Which means that you could use the data (without telling anyone or anyone noticing) for your own iGaming affiliate projects, right?

How?
If I'll tell you the exact conversion rate of your competitor, what you can do with this information?
invest more money on SEO? you don't need my software for that, use semrum.

there are no secrets in the online marketing industry. in 3 minutes we can know your top-ranked keywords, the CPC and to which brands you send the traffic to.

why you do need my software then?
To be a better digital marketer. to know EXACTLY how much you traffic worth and use that information to negotiate with the casino.
To be able to A/B test casinos for their retention.
To be able to see where the commission coming from. Do you think you know that? here's a REAL use case.

One of our first clients worked with brand X, Y, and Z. he used to split the traffic equally between the brands by rotating the position on the home page. after he started using our software we saw that A and B perform nicely while Z shows poor click to signup to deposit to commission. but Z had the highest commission.

at first, we thought there's a bug in a tracking software.
once we eliminate that we realized that 90% of brand Z commission was generated by old players that kept on playing. so the affiliate stopped sending traffic to brand Z and split 50-50 between X and Z.
he made 24% more money, from the exact same traffic.

That's ok, gobo isn't the first and surely not the last that will ask those questions.
When we did our market research we raised the exact same question. some affiliates were happy with how we do things while others said absolutely not.

drop a PM on skype to: haim.uac - I'll give you a demo account

There you have it. That information/data is worth something, right? If you provide the info you will get a nice sub-affiliate deal. This is the sub-affiliate deal that will make my maximum deal less than if I would negotiate straight with the casino itself without any middle hands.

How?

Yeah sure. But you can also use the data you are collecting to find new niches in markets you have not thought about. To be first in an up and coming market/niche/keyword can give you a huge advantage and can generate serious $$$ before it gets saturated.

I agree that a tool like yours is useful. No doubt about it. But not for that cost (both a monthly fee + you having access to all the data).

Let's turn it around and ask you instead; do you see any value at all in having access to all the data? Do you think there is any way you could earn $$$ from having access to the data? If not, why not just encrypt it or find another solution that would make iGaming affiliates more comfortable with signing up?

If you asked me 8 months ago i would have tell you that the software is free and in return I'll use you data to get you new deals as sub affiliates. then we changed our minds and we decide that as a Saas we prefer a business model that we can predict.

You don't need my tools for a market research, semrush and ahref will do much better job than I.

That was the reply I was waiting for.

When "charging in both ends" right from the start, you have the possibility to get multiple income streams, even though sub-affiliation (the data you have access to) will probably generate way more income than a subscription model.

Sure there is value.
As you said early, master affiliate commission is usually 2% from the affiliate max deal, and we don't want the affiliate cut.

But! Why not make the operators pay? CPA for segmented affiliates
Operators spend thousands on affiliate acquisition.

**we're still far far away from that.
**We're not planning to sell your contract! we'll send email campaigns to our affiliates

But that's not our plan anymore.
