New domain, Wordpress and I am lost

Hello all,

I am not new to the affiliate game per say but to Wordpress. I have purchased a new domain name and grabbed some hosting (free trial) to test out Wordpress as everyone seems to be using it. As I have a fairly basic understanding of HTLM, I am feeling completely lost atm even though the interface seems pretty basic.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for tutorials etc, most of the ones I have found are not that great. I have managed to upload a theme as a starter lol.

Once installed (if you have a theme it must be installed already) the options are pretty basic and easy to learn. What I tell people is just take your time and go through every setting and change a bunch of stuff and see what it does. It is really hard to break anything, and if you do, its very easy to fix.

I think the only thing this may leave out is information on themes, and how to edit them and all that. Main Page « WordPress Codex is also a great resource, a little wordy.. I say just dive in, play with the options and google anything you want to know. Wordpress is so widely used its very easy to find answers on almost anything.
