More crooks that should be rogued:
https://www.dafabetaffiliates.com/en/terms-and-conditions.html

Just a few highlights. Affiliates should really start ganging up on these rogues and telling them we won't have it. No advertisers, no business.

You need 5 active players every month
5.2 Dafabet Sportsbook will pay out a revenue share on the Commissionable Earnings generated by each customer attributable to the affiliate, as defined by Dafabet Sportsbook Affiliates Programme commission structure, provided that you maintain in your account as an affiliate, at least five (5) Active Wagering Members in any given calendar month.

Not only do you need 5 active players, they've got to be "active" in the sense they've wagered USD200 in that month!
5.3 Active Wagering Members refers to customers that reach a minimum wagering turnover amount equivalent to Two Hundred U.S. Dollars (USD200.00) each in any given calendar month.

Dodgy get out clause - they'll calculate your earnings with "reasonable and good faith means of tracking player activity"
5.5 All amounts are calculated and paid in accordance with the Company’s reasonable and good faith means of tracking player activity. Our calculations of commissions due to the affiliate under this Agreement shall be final and binding on the affiliate.

As a player I was under the impression that they have not properly gotten their things together since day 1. They have been around for a while already but I would not recommend them.

Thanks guys, similar story here - promoted them for about 2 years before realising these poor terms. My fault really. We've also not earnt hardly anything too and I would expect to have done so given they claim they're pretty strong in Asia. Do suspect they're a strong candidate for skimming players from affiliates given they're based in the Phillipines I think (conversion rates were ridiculously low and suspect, compared to other Asian facing sportsbooks), which may not be the most stringent jurisdiction when it comes to running an equitable program. They've been at some of the conferences haven't they though?

What are the people behind these affiliate programs thinking? Are they hoping that no one will ever read their t&C's?

Exactly. Years ago as a hobbyist affiliate I used to just sign up to many programs without reading the T&Cs as you always do when you see a long contractual list, assuming it's all just the bog standard terms. Nowadays if I meet any advertiser at a conference I have questions at the ready, and if they're not favourable I end the conversation right there and tell them to come back to me once they're in a position to act fair. People don't like it, but that's business - if you cheat you'll go out of business eventually.

Here's a new thread I've started on key questions to rule in/out joining an affiliate program:

I will have to get this program evaluated and listed as predatory here, sorry for that! At least they are an easy 'open and shut' case. What a waste of advertising space. What would be ideal, in my opinion, would be to go through the predatory programs (and especially rogue programs)... search the web for websites promoting their products.. and talk to the webmaster about removal.

Maybe that would affect these rip off joints more?

Thanks Guard Dog, certainly poor terms and if you class those sort of clear cases as predatory then let's make sure people don't advertise them. Strange thing is, a lot of the Asian facing sportsbooks seem to have these sorts of terms. Might be worth also checking out

12Bet - ROGUES 12BET Affiliates Programme
"1. 12BET will pay out a revenue share on the Commissionable Earnings generated by each customer, as defined by 12BET Affiliate Program commission structure, provided that you maintain in your account as an affiliate, at least five (5) Active Wagering Members in any given calendar month.
2. Active Wagering Members refers to customers that reach a minimum wagering turnover amount equivalent to One Hundred Dollars (USD100.00) each in any given calendar month. "

188Bet - 403 Error - Location Forbidden - 188BET (haven't read in detail)

138/138SunGame - https:// affuk. 138. com /content/terms (haven't read in detail)

I'm sure I've seen a few others doing this minimum 5 player thing. Thing is, you might earn a potential $1500 on your first player (on 25% rev share which means the company has profited $4500 from you), but because they don't pay until you have 5 active players EVERY month, they're robbing you in broad daylight!

I think it would also be really useful to start listing potential rogues who don't reply to affiliate emails and questions. I've found this with a lot of the Asian bookies - they just don't reply. 12Bet NEVER reply to emails.

Lots of Asian bookmakers trying to get into the UK market - SBObet sponsor West Ham, 12bet Wigan etc. Hopefully this will make them start acting responsibly like UK bookmakers. Certainly they'll have to abode by UK rules. I think it's either 12bet or Dafabet that still operates out of a Hotmail email address! You have to email them to get your bonus awarded, unlike most decent bookmakers where your bonuses are automatically credited.

Anyway, regardless of who they sponsor it still doesn't make their affiliate program honest and trustworthy. UK punters won't trust these brands in such a competitive market anyway, so I don't see any use in promoting them to UK visitors. For example, 12bet still have Chinese writing on their logo - this is a big branding mistake for the UK.

Yep, think it's 12bet - just trying to dig out the banner, but it basically said that you could claim your bonus by emailing some address at hotmail once you had placed bets and met the free bet criteria. Will try find the banner and post here. Comedy.
