The every1bets site has been taking a very long time to load the last couple days. I cannot determine what is causing the site to load so slowly. Would you guys mind taking a look at it and see if you find something that is causing it to load slowly please? Thank you

I just visit your website and it doesn't seem slow to me.

Loads fine for me (southern US). Sometimes loading banners from affiliate programs, instead of locally, will cause delays from time-to-time. That's why I typically like to save images and banners to my server before adding them to a site.

Maybe I should take one of the .gif images into photoshop and just use one instead of having animation, do you guys think that would help?

Are you using a program to test the load time, or are you just saying it looks to load slow when you view it? I just took a look, seems to load right.. It could be / have been an issue with your host.

You can also Google web tools for some inside info on what may be making your site run slow and how to speed it up: tools.pingdom.com

Thank You. I am saying it when I am posting articles and looking for posts. I thought it was my laptop but other sites load quickly. I have my hoops site on the same hosting plan and it is loading much quicker. It could be go daddy

Use WebPagetest - Website Performance and Optimization Test and then after it loads click on waterfall view. Pay close attention to the vertical line that says when it actually starts rendering. People will wait a bit, but not more than 2 secs to start rendering, or they think it's dead. After that speed can be increased but that is the big one a lot of people miss.

For example, if it takes my page 4 secs to load but starts rending at 1 sec, but your has a 3 sec load time but stats rendering at the 2.5 sec mark your bounce rate will be triple mine.

From the waterfall view you see exactly what processes and transfers are the ones taking a long time to complete.

Put all scripts after the /body and keep those requests down. Hope this helps.

Are they on the same MySQL database? A database lag I would bet is the problem. Maybe check with godaddy and see if they are having any issues.

Check your site speed details here gtmetrix.com/reports/every1bets.com/8Es9OwIb and following these steps to improving your site speed. You're using Apache server, Did you using APC cache or another?
