Hello AGD community,

Today we present you the real revenue share audit report for N1 Partners.
They have 3 casino brands: N1 Casino, Lady Hammer Casino and Joo Casino.

We have chosen to play at N1 Casino and deposited USD 20 via Skrill. We played without the welcome bonus due to country restrictions:

We started playing some slot games:

Eventually, we lost all the funds and checked the statistics:

For the deposit of USD 20, the Net Gaming Revenue was USD 13.
Our commission should be 45% of the Net Revenue which should be USD 5.85.

To summarize, the Effective Net Gaming Revenue (the amount of money deposited and lost) is 13/20 = 65 %.

Finally, multiply the advertised revenue share rate with the Effective NGR to see your real revenue share rate, e.g.:
  • 25% = 16.25 %
  • 30% = 19.50 %
  • 35% = 22.75 %
  • 40% = 26.00 %
  • 45% = 29.25 %

I guess all casinos on SoftSwiss platfrom have 35% admin fee by default.
Is there any way affiliates can ask them to reduce the admin fee % ?

I think that even if they have admin fee, they must inform affiliates about it. And they should tell the truth about their %

Well, they all do mention "fees" under deductions in the T&C.. I kinda understand how all of this makes sense business-wise, because 50% revenue share always sounds better for affiliates than 35%, even if the latter effectively is higher. Usually I've gotten an honest answer about the admin fee % when asking, but nobody so far has ever lowered it. Can always try to get a CPA deal to avoid it.

I heard that some aff programs can even take your CPA from your revshare, but I dont know how to actually check if that is true.

what you mean take CPA from rev? Like hybrid where the netgaming is actually adjusted to CPA you got?
I think he means negative revenue affecting CPA in a hybrid deal. E.g your month X has -100$ in revshare earnings, and 150$ in CPA earnings. You then are paid 50$ instead of full 150$. Some operators really do this, and its another shady and unethical practice - CPA and revshare imo should always be separate.

That's why I'm advocating for pure CPA deals, then you will not be touched by admin fees ever. The problem is that good CPA deals might be hard to come by, especially if your traffic volumes aren't extremely attractive.

Pure CPA deals also gives lots of problems. The casino simple says that you have low quality traffic and stops the deal. Sometimes they won't pay the last month because 'you tried to scam them with low quality traffic'.
And there is some truth ofcourse. If you send the casino 100's of €20 - €50 players and you are getting €150 per real player. Yup, thats costing them money.

If affiliate and casino are playing it fair, revenue share is a good business model for both parties.

Never heard about this, that they can do something like this to your earnings. But eventually, in the end they mould the things according to their needs and also adjust it to their comfort level which never suits to those affiliates who are doing lots of work and try to drive good traffic to them.
