Hello,

We are missing commissions from Velvet Partners and Sparta Affiliates.

We believe they may be the same company operating under different names, as both informed us at the same time that they would not pay our commissions.

We have been working with them for the past two months under a hybrid deal of €120 CPA + 40% revenue share. During the first month, everything went smoothly. They were satisfied with the quality of the players we referred and paid all commissions without any issues.

The situation became unusual during the second month. Just three days before the end of the month, they informed us that they were so satisfied with our traffic quality that they wanted to increase our CPA from €120 to €150. Throughout the month, they continued providing us with new casinos to promote, which clearly showed that they were satisfied with our partnership and the players we were delivering.

However, when it was time to pay our commissions, they suddenly refused. Their reason was that we were running a giveaway promotion.

We strongly disagree that the giveaway had any influence on the players’ deposits or the quality of our traffic. Many of the players we referred made deposits worth thousands of euros. It simply does not make sense to assume that players would deposit such significant amounts because of a giveaway where the first-place prize was only €500.

Players who are depositing thousands of euros are clearly motivated by the casino products themselves, not by the possibility of winning a relatively small prize. The giveaway was only an additional promotional activity and was not the reason why players deposited or played.

The quality of our traffic is demonstrated by the value of the players we delivered, their deposits, and their activity. Throughout the entire month, the partnership continued positively, and they showed satisfaction with our performance by providing additional casinos and even discussing an increased CPA.

We believe that withholding all commissions under these circumstances is unfair and not in line with a professional affiliate partnership. We would greatly appreciate any assistance or advice on how to resolve this matter.

I think this is the main point here. If the traffic was really an issue, it should have been raised when the deposits were happening, not only at the payment stage. It looks strange that they were happy enough to offer a higher CPA and keep sending more brands to promote, but then suddenly decided not to pay. At the same time, I would like to understand more details about the giveaway — was it approved by them before running, and were they aware of the mechanics? Because this is usually the first thing operators use as a reason to reject commissions. If the promo was communicated and there were no warnings during the month, withholding the whole amount seems excessive.
