Memorandum of Understanding Between UKGC and Spelinspektionen

The Swedish Gambling Authority and the United Kingdom Gambling Commission went public with new details from the Memorandum of Understanding with the aim to additionally strengthen their collaboration. Those primarily refer to regulatory policies and procedures.

The two institutions will collaborate on general policy and supervisory issues along with matters relevant to remote gambling operators. They will also discuss measures related to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing, as well as wagering, gaming and other transactional data.


Besides this, both UKGC and Spelkinspektionen have agreed to share any relevant information that could have a negative impact on a remote gambling distributor as well as enforcements or regulatory actions that could also have a material effect on a remote supplier.

The Swedish authority is a complete joke. If you think the UKGC is bad, just wait until you get to experience a bit of SGA. They've completely killed the gambling industry in Sweden.
