Sure there will be some problems but it is looking way better now right? Problems can be fixed i guess if we point them out!

Hi KasinoKing,

From the AGD home page, you can check new posts under the 'What's new' tab.

Maybe you will find the 'Filters' option useful, where you can accommodate your watchlist by unread threads, watched content, threads in which you've participated...

Hi AGD'ers,

This update was necessary, it does look much cleaner and we hope you like it. Please bear with us if you do come across issues or bugs, if you do find any please let @MissExposé know.

I'll get used to it but if I could chose I'd stick to the old design. The readability for me on desktop was much better (new fonts are too thin and too small).

Agree...

I only use my mobile for phone and txt, never for web browsing etc., etc.

While you can't, and shouldn't stop progress, using a PC, for a layout which is designed for mobile, is rather frustrating.

like most things, just needs to get used to but nice and smart. assuming the new posts button does the same as recent posts now, as like KK that was my go to button
Yeah - but it doesn't. There is a VERY subtle difference:
Recent Posts showed all recent threads, whether you had read up-to-date with them or not.
New Posts only shows threads containing posts you haven't viewed yet.

I found the Recent Posts more useful personally - but everything changes in life eventually, so I guess I will just have to get used to it!

I realise the majority of the world is "mobilised" now - but I never will be.
If there comes a day when I can't "do my stuff" on a laptop or PC, I will stop doing my stuff!

I second this on desktop which is what I use most of the time, the fonts are very small and hard to read with my old tired eyes.

and as for the font, it's more less the same as it was (size is the same), except that before it was more grayish, which is harder to see in my opinion
and previously we had bigger line-height. We can modify this design to have a bit larger line spacing as well...

Here is how it was:

versus how it's now:

Anyway, if you have issues at some screen sizes, please send me the screenshot, so we could see what is the issue

Thanks

For me the menu is a bit tricky, maybe some tabs could go to the black font instead of having arrows at the header. In general i still feel this is a nice update. :)

It is more in the Members profile (side), Likes, and signatures where they do appear smaller maybe it is just a visual thing.

interesting how many still use a computer, I thought I was the only one left. I work from my laptop all day and have it on until bed, never browse on my phone unless I'm out or in bed etc

i still like the design on my laptop btw

yes, members part was a bit larger and I agree we'll have that tweaked to be more like the old one

Seems like I'm not the only one approaching my 50ies...

Less than 6 months and I'll be that, +1 decade. Started in this gig at 39. I honestly don't know where 20 years have gone. It's kinda scary!
