Hello guys.

Did anyone receive e-mail from LeoVegas Affiliate Team asking to create another account with them for UK players?

What seems fishy is contact chris.brown@rocketx.com they list in that e-mail, why not on leovegas domain?

They've been quite open about separating the UK from non UK with different accounts.

It sounds like they've hired an outside company to manage the UK site of things, hence the different email. It's legit though, don't worry.

Update: Just had a quick look around and RocketX is indeed a company that provides services to Leovegas, but interestingly they're also owned by them.

Rocket X is a proud part of the Leo Vegas Mobile Gaming Group. Tracing our roots back to 2005, we have grown from strength to strength and now provide managed services for a portfolio of online casino, sports and bingo brands to the LeoVegas mobile gaming group.

Has anyone had this sorted? They didn't arrange this for me or approve my account, yet they now send a threat asking me to take down Leovegas unless I complay. Makes no sense.

MY affiliate manager seems as confused as me (poor guy). He knows he might be in for a shitstorm from affiliates now.

From the mail:

Dear Affiliate,

We have noticed that currently your account is on UK 0% commission but you are still advertising the UK Leovegas brand on your site. Please remove any marketing pertaining to Leovegas UK from across your site/s immediately. The refusal to do so is a direct violation of the Leovegas affiliate terms and conditions. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to get in contact.

Best regards,

Still not sorted. I literally got an ultimatum from them - either a create such account or they will give me the boot. A bit hard to do, however, when your account is waiting to be approved for a month :D I honestly don't think they know what they are doing atm.

That's anything but unusual in this industry.
EG:
  • osiristrading.com/about-us (aka Fortune Lounge Group, digimedia.com.mt etc., etc., etc)
  • wintechnologies.net - now redirects to Betway Group (aka Spin Palace Group, etc., etc., etc)
  • spiralsolutions.com/who-we-are/ (Formally operated Brightshare. Which got taken over by FA/FL, then Buffalo Partners)
FYI... wintechnologies.net were directly connect to the 1'st wave of WP hacked sites back in 2012 (webzcas and I worked together and made that connection. We went public with that info, and within 48 hours all the hacked sites disappeared) - https://web.archive.org/web/20130430030121/http://www.wintechnologies.net/

Further more, if you take a look at the management team here (most if not all are strawmen): https://web.archive.org/web/20150427045619/http://www.wintechnologies.net/about/people

Tim - Marketing Director, was AFAIK the casino manager at Spin Palace for many years.

The Moshal's are connected back to most, if not all of the above companies, who BTW, still maintain a 51% share in MGS.

Not saying the Moshal's knew about the hacked WP sites - actions are made without owners or shareholders knowledge.

However, this industry is Uber-Incestuous, never forget that ;)

Just had this email

Thanks for applying for a UK Leo Vegas account. Apologies for the delay in getting in touch but we have been very busy with moving accounts and setting them up.

I appreciate the email that was sent out about swapping links had a date of August 31st on. Please note this is no longer the case we will be managing this process over the next few months with a view to having all UK traffic over by November 30th.

With this in mind we will be reviewing your account and application for the UK platform around early October; so in the next couple of weeks.

Everything will track as is in the current account for now and as long as you are UK complaint everything will be fine, if you are not you will need to be before being approved for the UK.

Apologies for the delay and I appreciate your patience while we carry out this rather large admi task.

Thanks

I decided not to apply for UK programme since I rarely get customers from there

The guys Chris was dealing IPS affiliate platfrom, which was closed as the brands (Pink Casino and etc) are acquired by LeoVegas. Obviously they moved him as UK aff. manager for LeoVegas but one guy for all the UK affiliates ?!?

Got their message about Please note this is no longer the case we will be managing this process over the next few months with a view to having all UK traffic over by November 30th. - Who will wait for them till 30th of Nov?!? I will personally just replace their links with another operator.

Just had an email to say they are going through the applications now -

Need to fill in -

AML and UK compliance form below. Once done we can process your application.

So what does that mean exactly. What kind of information do they want? AML checks is for banks to do, not an affiliate program?
