KSA investigated over 20 websites, and found that 15 of them were apparently in breach of Dutch GamblingAct for advertising casinos that don’t have a valid national license in the Netherlands. The websites were not identified to the public nor the gamling venues that were being promoted.
13 of the initial 22 investigations could result in penalties, the regulator indicated.

@MissExposé - The KSA would be able to flex its muscles and fine affiliates residing in the Netherlands. But what will they do about affiliates outside the KSA's reach? Maybe what Australia does... add sites to their blocklist, and place the names of affiliates on their border control list. Meaning, if the affiliate happens to visit the Netherlands, they could be arrested by customs.

It reads like a replay of the DoJ in the late 90's and 2000's.

SMH...

Usually affiliates get a fine of maximum € 25.000. If they continue, than a fine might be higher or criminal law might be applicable. If on a .nl domain, the website might be taken offline.
