Youtube has been coming down hard on streamer channels these past few days. Several big and medium large channels have been hit with violation strikes and having videos removed and banned from uploading new ones. You're very vulnerable if you depend on 3rd party platforms.

Ultimately you "depend" on something. Be it Google, Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Rarely do gambling websites have well balanced sources of traffic, at least in my experience. Typically it is very heavily skewed to one medium or another.

Gotta get in and get the money while you can. All methods will eventually dry up. Of course, this should still be done ethically and morally, but take advantage and press your edge if you find one! :)

Fair point but third party platforms are way more risky than having your own website, especially when it comes to streaming on platforms intended for young adults. If TV adverts are seen as a problem, streaming is much worse. Besides, if you want to succeed with streaming, you cant just do it a little here and there. The top ones stream long hours on schedule. You will barely have time or energy for anything else. It can become quite tedious if your channel doesnt grow as fast as you expected.

I'm not saying you should try, I'm just sharing my experiences.

In comms or winnings?

We all know no one can beat the house so, clearly it must be commissions. Question is, is it commissions before, or after they zero out his inevitable losses each month.

I agree with you that one should have a website as well and not simply rely on a 3rd party such as YT, Twtich, Gram, FB, etc.

To clarify, I was not advocating that any of us, as affiliates, should take up streaming ourselves. I would love to hire someone, or multiple people in fact, to stream and use our links. I would take on the variance and pay happily for people willing to stream full time.

However, finding people who can stream reasonable content is a giant PITA. Thus far, it has been a failure for us.

Roshtein is a notorious fake money streamer, streaming on crappy brands and for using viewer bots. Nothing to look up to in my opinion. He is the equivalent of affiliate site owners pushing shitty off-shore casinos.

Sure he is, as do many scammers around the world. He could pull €1m per day, I still wouldn't want to earn money scamming viewers into thinking I'm putting my own money at risk while expecting them to do it. Would you?

So this makes him "ok" now? The fact that he built his channel scamming people is disgusting imo. Once a scammer, always a scammer. But hey, each to his own.

again, it only shows that twitch has huge potential, nothing else and he is the best example of huge affiliate who achieved it using this platform only

It depends on how you look at it I guess. In my view, his channel is the worst example and belongs to the garbage pile with all email spammers, blackhat seo website owners and other affiliates using shady tactics. Personally I just don't think he should be brought up as an example at all, in particular not as a good one. In fact, he is doing damage to all of us with his fake money streaming and irresponsible gambling behavor doing 50€ bets per spin day in and day out. The last thing we need is the UKGC to hit us with even more regulations. He is one of the main reasons why I'm convinced casino streaming is doomed. Any day now...

any popular streamer makes at least €5 bets per spin (and more), so basically you statement reads like "streamers are bad for the business"

I think exactly opposite - they make casino games more popular

50€ vs 5€ is quite a difference don't you think? Regardless, promoting irresponsible gambling is never ok. As you surely know, it's also against regulations. You do care about regulations and responsible gaming?

And indeed, I do believe that streamer like him are bad for business and give our industry a bad name. I'm far from being alone thinking so. If you read the ongoing discussions on Casinomeister for example, you will see that both he and a casino promoting his irresponsible gambling received quite a lot of critisism from players as well as fellow affiliates. It's funny though that you suddenly decided to join in promoting this particular streamer so eagerly.
