Is it just me, or is everyone just flat out.

The new year came with renewed energy, and intensity to start, finish and grow current projects. New poker rooms, new casinos, new websites.

I just realised, we're not far away from the 3rd month of the year. I swear New Years Eve felt like it was only 2 weeks ago. Days and weeks are just flying by.

I love the feeling, even if it is a little scary!
The engine feels like its rev'ed high, and its 100 miles and running!

It seems that way. Knuckle down and go full steam ahead.
There was that usual mad rush before Christmas from clients then a solid 2 week break, and then right back into it with websites being built, coded. New technology to read up on, coding, development. No end in sight.

If anyone is looking for ideas or concepts to use on their websites.. lmk! I got a couple that look interesting.

It's non-stop for me.. including having to repair a website that has 'lost it's way' :( My slotsonfire.com website was crushed somehow on my server and I can't get it back up.. time to move from that host to another and get it back online.

That is just one out of about 50 projects I have running in parallel :( It's busier this year than ever for me.

I was just thinking the same, I was hoping a still January, but looking at the calendar it is almost March now, and I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel lol.

And honestly, this is the point when I'm thinking about the full hyped "crisis" by the media...

Roger that, I can't seem to get my "to-do-list" down whatsoever, all it does is grow. I wake up everyday and have no idea where to put my time with a gazillion different things going on.

I just hired my sister full time so she can start taking some things off of me, she is an ace at creative content writing but still needs to learn the ropes on everything else. I am having a hard time knowing what to do with her since there are a million different things she needs to know. Does anyone have any advice on the best approach to get a new hire up to speed on everything, seo, marketing, link building, ect?

Naturally I have her doing some research in these areas but I am questioning my approach to this since I have never really trained anyone else before. Should I be looking into online courses or something for her? I guess I am hoping for a little guidance from anyone else who has been in my shoes with a new hire hoping so I can do this the right way and not look back in 6 months saying to myself damn, I wish I would have done it this way with her. Thanks

I would do research into some of the top articles in the field, personally. The problem with training is that the classes are typically to old to be worthwhile anymore and finding a 'real' course is difficult. You end up with shoddy e-books for the most part.

So - go to webmasterworld.com for some great articles along with seomoz.com and seochat.com. There are so many good places for quality SEO talk that are up to date and real. I think another is highrankings.com, but not 100% on that one.

Yea I like highrankings, they are a great group of people over there and I learned a lot from them. Here is another good list of seo resources.
