Ireland and Gibraltar Sign Gambling Oversight Cooperation Deal

Ireland’s Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRAI) and the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen collaboration in gambling oversight. The agreement, finalized on June 26, 2025, by GRAI CEO Anne-Marie Caulfield and Commissioner Andrew Lynam, promotes information sharing, joint efforts against illegal gambling, and regular dialogue on industry trends and best practices. This marks GRAI’s third international MoU and highlights Gibraltar’s early support in establishing the Irish regulator. With several operators licensed in both jurisdictions, the partnership aims to ensure a consistent regulatory approach and enhance the integrity and safety of the gambling environment.
