Today we present you the real revenue share audit report for Intertops Affiliates.
We have a 35% revenue share deal with them.
They have 3 brands:
  1. Intertops Poker
  2. Intertops Sportsbook
  3. Intertops Casino
Affiliate reporting Platform:

For the purpose of this report, we have chosen Intertops Red Casino.
We deposited $20 via Neteller and bought the casino chips.

We claimed the welcome bonus (100% up to $100) and started playing some slots:

And the luck was on our side for a while :)

But eventually, we lost all the funds.

After playing we checked the statistics in the affiliate system.

The Net Gaming Revenue (NET) for the deposit of US$ 20 was US$ 19.96 - 3.99. Having in mind that our final balance was US$ 0.04, we could say that the Net Gaming Revenue was US$ 15.97 + US$ 0.04 = US$ 16.01.

Intertops Affiliates are taking (Net Gaming Revenue – fees) x commission %, so when a player deposits $20 our earnings are:
($19.96 - $3.99) x 35% = $5.59

To summarize, the Effective Net Gaming Revenue (the amount of money deposited and lost) is 16.01/20 =80%, which is not bad.

Multiply your advertised revenue share rate by the Effective Net Gaming Revenue (80%) to get your real rate, eg:

  • 20% = 16%
  • 25% = 20%
  • 30% = 24%
  • 35% = 28%
  • 40% = 32%
  • 45% = 36%

That's a reasonably good result! Good work. We definitely need more programs like this and Trada Affiliates :)

I think it is sad that it has gotten to the point where 80% is considered "not bad". It is bad, it is just not unusual.

Good result. Intertops has one of the best reputations in the industry and I have never had any issues with them over the many years that I've been promoting them.

Does this also account for the mandatory 20% "admin fee" they charge affiliates?

Yes - that's exactly 20% deduction . However it doesn't match what I've seen there recently - where commission appears to be just 11% of Net - Fees ... and the Net seems very very dodgy.

Deps $111.31 : Net $53.65 (suspicious) - Fees $10.73 = $42.92 = Comm $4.36 (Wow!!)

Really ??
$111.31 deposited and lost by two players - turns into $42.92 net and $4.36 commission ???

How can you be sure the players lost all their money?
If they had some left in their casino accounts past the end of the month, that wouldn't contribute to NGR.

But I'm sure you know that! :p

Yes - that's exactly 20% deduction .
Indeed, I had instantaneously done the math and knew this to be true.

However, there are many programs who deduct fees from the GR directly. For example, there is an audit of Revenue Networks here on AGD where $100 lost = $80 NGR, a %20 reduction off the top, before other deductions.

Deps $111.31 : Net $53.65 (suspicious) - Fees $10.73 = $42.92 = Comm $4.36 (Wow!!)
So it seems to me that "effective net gaming revenue" is not simply 80%, i.e. an easy function of removing the "admin fee" but admin fee + huge and opaque deductions * commission %.
