GambleAware stated that its proposition for a mandatory 1% levy to help fund programs tasked with combating and treating gambling-related harms should also be made a condition for operators to obtain a local license from the nation’s Gambling Commission regulator.
This proposal comes just before a ‘white paper’ of proposed changes to the nation’s online and land-based gambling landscape is in preparation to be released.
