I have seen my sites come off a cliff in terms of traffic. I have spent years focusing on adding content to my sites. I have not done link building since google said create content and links will come naturally lol. I have gotten links but nothing close to what one could get buying them.

I am certain their are many here with quality aged sites and we have nothing to loose if we link to each other.

Example you tell me i want link from page X and i tell you i want from page x on your site and we all get links and we are all gambling related.

This Google update was rough. Did you win then for not having any paid links?
No paid links, i made sure i didnt do that following older sites in the past that got rekt for it and other reasons.

you need a indian news site, bad generic AI content and spammy links to rank nowadays
Exactly, it is amazing how they manage to rank.

I think with AI, even google will suffer. I mean i no longer search on google for info. I go to chat gpt and post my query, that way i get the reply i need and dont need to go through 10 or more pages that google shows. Also with pro i can have it go and find cheap ticket from city A to city B and it does the bing search, checks some sites and comes back to tell me where i find the best deal. Google will finally get karma for all their alg updates haha I even see google ad for their own services sometimes.

What specific adjustments have you made or are planning to make on your site within the past 2 months related to Google's focus on YMYL, E-A-T, content quality, and page experience signals like Core Web Vitals? Are you leaning into creating more long-form, in-depth articles covering nuance and broader questions within your niche? Does the 4,000+ word range now perform better for you than before? Thanks for your advice
