many times i read other peoples work to keep up to date with some kind of offers namely no deposit bonuses. For all the read my posts might be aware im a huge fan of zunga's work and his network of sites.

However today i search the name "latest casino bonuses" and "lastescasinobonuses.com" and the site wont even come up for its own name. Any ideas?

I recently took a dive similar to the EMD queries relating to my brand, wonder if this is only me or some general shit google is pulling on affiliate sites using EMD's.

EMD?

I had heard that the sites somehow got a google penalty, but I don't know the extent of it or why. I'm sure they are working feverishly to fix that. As an FYI - imagine you work for those programs that say you have to bring X number of new players in a month.... and then this happens?? You just got shit on by Google and now the programs will take your hard earned commissions. Yet another reason to stay away from the predatory and rogue programs here.

exact match domain CG...

And wow, that is a very good point you make, not only you lose you rankings you also get stifed with lower income or hold commissions making that much harder your comeback.... really a good point to take into account when choosing a program to work with.

They started cracking down a while ago on EMDs (or so matt said). I have more recently seen them decline in the serps but the EMD penalty only really applies to lower quality sites. They may be looked at a bit more in detail, but if you have a high quality site it should not be affected by the EMD penalty (so says matt). That said I would highly doubt lastescasinobonuses was hit by the EMD penalty.. Must have been something else. Or at least I would hope, or G just really screwed up (has been known to happen)

This has been like this since early/mid December now. Obviously a penalty of some kind but don't believe it's related to the EMD crackdown.

Will be a dodgy link from somewhere and I'm pretty sure the guys at LCB will be all over it.

It is hard for search engines to punish sites that provide good value. When it comes to ranking for themselves as a brand name this is less of a concern as they have social media profiles that can rank. Besides more people search for latest casino bonuses because the site is hugely popular. Their page title target is primarily 'online casinos'.

When I search in google.com for "latestcasinobonuses.com", the top result in the serps is "www.webworldindex.com/cgi-bin/pseek/go.cgi?id=356535‎" but when I click it, it redirects me to latestcasinobonuses.com

Yeah, I'm seeing what FictionNet is seeing. LCB's first step should be in getting that directory listing removed. The redirect WebWorldIndex.com is using is giving a 200 status code.

This has led Google to think that the URL they are showing is the correct one for LatestCasinoBonuses.com content. Probably because Webworldindex.com is an older site. This should be a fairly straightforward fix. I don't think it's a penalty as such - just a Google f**k up.

Remove the Webworldindex.com listing and the problem should disappear. That's my two pennies, anyway.

it aint gona happen. They are gone, you can read all about similar cases and a very few % recover and by recover they get some more traffic and not what they used to get.

Probably EMD and buying links. I have seen their links posted on sites which charge monthly for a link on home page so that is probably it. Maybe someone even reported it to google and well, it was pretty obvious and the result is a penalty.

Hopefully a time penalty but unless the links get removed they will not recover and google does not tell you what links other than some of the ones they know about.

I know how it feels, believe me no outcome is positive. Better plan b

I have to agree with casinofeb. After everything that I've read on the forums, and speaking from experience, it's a really long and hard uphill battle to recover from penalties where the site doesn't even rank for its own domain name. I feel for the guys at LCB. LCB is such an awesome site.

You would think they would put together a quick .net version of the site or something just to capture some of the searches for the people actually looking for the brand. I'm sure they would be able to rank a site just for the keyword 'latest casino bonuses' fairly quick.

That would be the start of my plan b anyway.

The EMD penalty was ages ago, I think if you were going to be hit by it, it would of happened by now
