Google Authorship

A few months back I started using Google Authorship, but as I look more into it, I am starting to run into more questions I can't find any answers to.

Is anyone else actively using Google Authorship? My worry is, I am currently ranking for the same keywords on two different sites, while being listed as a contributor on both under one profile. While the content is different, they are for similar subjects, and rank with a shared keyword.

My worry is since Google knows I am the same contributor to both sites, they will only allow one to rank for the keyword and demote the other. I don't generally like Google knowing to much, but does anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Yeah the article has some good info in it... So the the comments. But I am looking more for information on if Google does or has plans to limit the number of top author results from the same author.

You know how Google will 'allow' you to rank 2 pages from the same domain in the top of the serps (for the same keyword)? They have some sort of rule somewhere along that line.

I wonder if they will have the same kind of limit for content from the same author...

There is a lot of your answers in my Google+ feed. Literally, if you scroll down through it, between my posts and other experts you will have your (estimated) answers lol. Online18 knows but for the rest of ya... search "Jared Bates Casino" on Google+

for the search term... you will only see one rel=author result 99% of the time. Easy for them to handle that it looks like. They want organic search to stop show multiple results from the same domain too, but I guess that's harder lol. At most in that case is three, if you push a 4th page up for one term from the same IP your are done for very soon!! The exception here would only apply to the largest of online casino / gambling sites.

But you are thirsty for something substantial I can tell, so here a great one from your old pal...

If your are not linking as a contributor in your profile you are missing out on some pretty unique juice. But, through months of testing, hair loss from anxiety, a sum of beer that would kill a normal man, I found out that the max number of profile contributor links must be kept under 8 =D More than that and they get diluted.
