No. The pro version is subscription based. You need to have a subscription to use the Geo MaxMind plugin but you can go with the basic subscription for one web site and not worry about over consuming the clicks because of the free database.

Thank you, I think I understand now :)

No. I'm running the site with GeoTargeting WP and the W3 Total Cache plugin. It seems to be working fine, but I don't have the "Cache Mode" checked in GeoTargeting WP because that doesn't seem to work well with the cache plugin.

Here is the information about MaxMind with a link to the Geo MaxMind plugin. https://geotargetingwp.com/docs/geotargetingwp/local-database

I installed W3 Total Cache and unchecked "Cache Mode" and it works fine when I visit my site using VPN and incognito mode. However, when I activate "Page Cache" in W3 Total Cache, which I think you're supposed to do, geotargeting is no longer working. When I check again with VPN and incognito mode it will just show everything in Euros no matter what country I choose. It's the same thing that happens to me when I use WP Rocket. I just can't get geotargetinwp to work for me unless I deactivate cache plugin :(

It works fine with the page cache enabled on our sites. This is because it is using AJAX to
update the geo-targeting fields after the page loads. This is not available in the free version.
If you are using the pro version with a subscription, the AJAX is what bypasses the page cache.

I see! Unfortunately, AJAX mode does not work with widgets and since my site is more or less built with widgets that's a no go for me :/

I think my only option is to deactivate the cache plugin altogether and run my site without cache. Geotargeting is more important to me than cache but yea, it kind of sucks.
