Hi guys!

To those of you targeting multiple countries, how have you solved the fact that most casinos offer different welcome bonuses depending on region?

Do you know of any good geotargeting plugins for wordpress that only displays content based on region? I tried one today that looked promising, but didn't work that well.

i use custom content by country plugin.
different bonuses - you can solve it with different links and CTAs by geo. to be honest i don't always do that.

Hi Kadabra! Thank you for the reply! That's the plugin I tried, and it didn't seem to work too well for me. It would still not show content when I tried from a UK ip and so on. It works well for you?

What is CTA? I guess I could use different links, but by the it has already taken the player to the second step. Would be nice to be able to advertise the actual bonus for the specifik regions

What is CTA?

CTA = call to action, like "Join Now", "Play Now", "Claim Now"
The problem with free geoplugins is that it is limited to a certain amount of visits, requests per minute usually. That means you need to ensure that the page will be accesible once the number of visit within specified timeframe will excedd the limit. If you know PHP you can do it, but again you need an alternative content to be displayed in that case. I'm not sure if it worth.

first, have you disable caching for the page you geo or did partial caching? otherwise won't work.
unless i am missing what you mean - you can of course post different bonus for various geo - just means that you will have to geo each casino review - not sure it's worth it.

I do my GEO manually and draw from country origin, i needed to make some ignore requests for the cache on certain objects and now works like a charm..

I use a litespeed server which has some insane caching, + cloudflare home page we had to set the instructions not to cache the casino table prior to litespeed this worked, however all slot pages cache and show GEO

I never tried to change some written content by GEO. I just tried to change banners displaying on the IP base. But the plugin had limited lookups, so I´ve decided to leave it alone.

A decade ago was WordPress still crap, that's why you used Drupal. But yes, WP now rulezz..

After a while I had understood that hand coding was much easier for me than handling Drupal modules. Since then I've sticked to Laravel. And yeah WordPress is good as well, but I'm not CMS-friendly. Some days ago I had a talk with a friend, web developer, working mostly with clients from USA. He told that most of them (US) wants websites built on Drupal. BTW I could be of help if your site is on Laravel.

I have never heard of Laravel until now. Fast and lean are cool, but we aren't interested in coding anything from scratch.

I still haven't found a reliable solution. https://geotargetingwp.com seems like the best one so far, but I don't like that it comes with a monthly fee and limited requests.

I've been thinking of just adding the most important offers in every entry of the table like this:

UK: 100% up to £100 + 20 Free Spins
SE: 200% up to 1000 SEK + 20 Free Spins
ROW: 100% up to €100 + 20 Free Spins

...but I don't know. Might get too cluttered and confusing to new players.

I dont mind spending, but the problem is who to trust to do the job. I don't even know where to start.

I don't know anything about Drupal, but you'll probably need to follow Frank's advice
and spend a little money to have something custom developed. There are some things
that you'll want a web site to do in a certain way with a certain theme, that even a plugin
won't do.. without having someone customize it.. to display things exactly how you want it.

Tbh, the solution offered by https://geotargetingwp.com seemed quite straight-forward and well built, but I couldn't get it to work when testing from a different geolocation. Could be that the proxy service I used didn't work the way it should or I did something else wrong in terms of cache, etc.
