President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has instructed to develop a draft law on legalization of gambling and amber mining and to adopt relevant laws by December 2019.
Prepare and submit to the Parliament draft laws on legalization of gambling business. The deadline is October 1, 2019.
What happened before: Zalenskyy announced his intention to resume operation of the casino in Ukraine in early August 2019. According to the President, casinos in 5-star hotels will be legalized in Ukraine because it will stimulate the development of the tourist cluster of the region near the Black Sea.
Gambling business in Ukraine is prohibited since 2009. However, gambling establishments continue to operate underground throughout the country. Accordingly, such shadow business does not pay any money to the budget.

Not been to these particular ones, but I have a vibe that they will be similar to the one in Bulgaria. That one wasn't relevant to me personally in the slightest, as it didn't deal with western europe at all - and the participant list for both of these look really similar. Would be interesting to hear about Ukraine and Georgia specifically, though!

I think regulated market is't good for us. More importan that Ukraine is home for may gambling affiliate programs
targeting all other the world. I hope nothing will change for them/
