Fortune Affiliates have changed their terms and conditions to add PPC Exclusions to ensure that affiliates are not bidding on their branded keywords.

1.11.7 no Affiliate may bid on any Pay Per Click search engine service using brand names associated with any of the Fortune Lounge Group Casino, Poker or Bingo brands or Fortune Affiliate program

TERMS UPDATE, Terms, Language Discrepancies

Language Discrepancies. In case of any discrepancy between the meanings of any translated versions of this Agreement, the meaning of the English Language version shall prevail.

Summary:Marketing Exclusions on PPC are very typical additions these days. If you are a PPC guy marketing with their keywords, you may want to talk to your affiliate manager.

Hi all,

I understand their reasoning behind this...But on the same token there are plenty of webmasters who use brands and who hold organic serps on these type of keywords. In most cases they kick FLG serps.

Unless FLG are actively marketing to PPC now (using their brands) I don't see the issue, sorry.

Am I missing something here?

Cheers

I think it's a fairly standard clause; nothing much to worry about. If you're into PPC, they just don't want you to bid on their brand names, that's all.
