I found an interesting article about the first Moz update you can read about here. Most of my sites authority has increased but I am confused about one that decreased.

• 1,356,731,650 (1 billion) subdomains
• 200,255,095 (200 million) root domains
• 1,165,625,349,576 (1.1 Trillion) links
• Followed vs nofollowed links
  • 3.17% of all links found were nofollowed
  • 63.49% of nofollowed links are internal
  • 36.51% are external
• Rel canonical: 26.50% of all pages employ the rel=canonical tag
• The average page has 89 links on it
  • 72 internal links on average
  • 17 external links on average

Very poor index only 200 million root domains is far from the real global number in the world....I really think Moz metrics are way off and not reliable at all when they just don't have the base to give proper results

Stats for moz are way off.. compared to WMT they are missing about 98% of my links lol

Just curious, what are they offering that Moz is not? Are they more accurate?

Accuracy, better reports. I've also been reading their SEO emails and they are really on spot!

The software looks good. Is there a trial email subscription? I dont see an email newsletter on their site.

I think on the free accounts you have like 5-10 free reports daily, but limited. Ahrefs is worth every $, the biggest index of all SEO tools out there, I honestly think they will catch on LRT soon as quality of reports and tools

The one thing I like about MOZ, is the "Weather Report"
Helps to correlate some of the dips and spikes we see with google activity.
