Hi,
So I work directly with a few casinos. And what I have noticed is that the contract you sign as an affiliate is garbage... you simply have no rights. If you have worked together for a year or more with a particular casino - sent them a good amount of customers and have decent player value, so your monthly income is OK. The next day they can simply kick you out. They will not even continue paying you for past customers that signed up through you. Overnight, you can just loss it for one casino. And the contract is setup in such a way that you cannot take any legal actions and hope to win.

I have tried to negotiate more fair terms. I mean why call it a partnership if really the contract is setup in such a way that you are literally just a bch... and havent had any luck.

So my questions are twofold.
#1 has anybody actually been able to negotiate the affiliate contract to have fair terms that actually makes it a partnership.

#2 are there any casinos out there that actually provides the affiliate with a fair contract.

thanks!

#1: Yes
#2: Yes

However, with reference to your opening paragraph - you have no rights or protection at all as an affiliate.
Programs can and do change terms or dump affiliates as and when they see fit. (Been there - LOTS of times).
Nothing you can do about it.
Unfortunately that is just the nature of this business.

Yes/yes.

But the question is what it's worth if an affiliate manager approves something. Probably he doesn't even have the procurements to do so.

Also, getting a customized deal provides obligations too. To deliver. And legal actions against PO box companies don't make too much sense. If they don't pay, they don't pay.

I tend to agree with KK. The best thing is to get your money as soon as possible. Revenue share sounds, in theory, perfect, but the reality is that programs do close, go rogue, markets close, player retention s*cks sometimes, etc. That's why i changed almost everything in hybrid deals or rs combined with a flat fee.

As KK said, it is the nature of this business. From my point of view it´s very important to know aff managers in person and try to make honest win win cooperation.
