As I recall, he was taking an extended vacation / honeymoon there along with the convention. He may still be there, I can't remember if he was going the week prior or staying the following week.

Hey guys! I am back home. ;D Thanks for the concern!

We had a nice time in Sydney. We saw a concert at the Sydney Opera House, we went to Blue Mountains (which is kind of like a mini Grand Canyon), we got to pet some kangaroos, wallabies, and koala bears at an animal park, and we rode buses, ferries, and trains around the city. We also walked around a lot -- my feet and calves were killing me by the end of the week!

I hope to go back again someday.......

Sounds like you had a really good time! I sooooo wish the wife and I could have made it out there Not necessarily for the convention, but for the sights. I've always wanted to go to Australia.

When we went to Australia we did Thailand , New Zealand and Vietnam.That was few years ago before the kids came along lol.

congrats again. I think you might have mentioned that (honeymoon) but I can't remember. I did miss out on Blue Mountain and the Kangaroos. I did get to hit up some of the beaches and do surfing and snorkeling.
