Hello everyone,

I would like to share an ongoing affiliate payment dispute with Emperia Partners and ask for feedback from other affiliates who may have experienced something similar.

Background

On May 14, 2026, Emperia Partners contacted us via Telegram regarding the promotion of Emperia Casino on our website.

After discussions, we agreed on:

€150 CPA + 50% RevShare

The terms were accepted by us on May 27, 2026.

We placed Emperia Casino on our website on June 9, 2026 and informed them that the placement was live.

June 2026

During June, our traffic generated:

€3,750.00 commission

On July 16, Emperia Partners informed us that the June commission would be paid by July 25.

However, on July 20, we noticed that the June invoice had been marked as canceled.

When we contacted them, they explained that the CPA payment was being put on hold while they reviewed the June FTDs and player activity.

Importantly, they explicitly told us that this was not a rejection of the traffic, but an additional review of the players' long-term value.

July 2026

Despite the June payment issue, our website generated another:

€2,908.44 commission

On August 25, Emperia informed us that they had decided to terminate the cooperation because the results were not profitable enough for them.

We accepted their decision to terminate the partnership.

However, the outstanding commissions remained unpaid.

The latest explanation

After asking what would happen to the June and July commissions, we were told:

"They decided not to pay the full bill due to the traffic being reviewed for fraud. The only thing we can do is to pay RS for all players."
This is where we have a serious concern.

At no earlier stage were we informed that our traffic had been classified as fraudulent.

Previously, Emperia had described the situation as a traffic-quality / player-value review and explicitly stated that the traffic was not rejected.

We have now been told that the traffic is being reviewed for fraud, but we have not been provided with specific evidence identifying:

  • which players are allegedly fraudulent;
  • which traffic or transactions are allegedly fraudulent;
  • what specific activity violated the agreement;
  • or which contractual provision allows the agreed CPA to be withheld retrospectively.
The original agreement was €150 CPA + 50% RevShare.

We do not believe the commercial terms should simply be changed retrospectively to RevShare-only after the traffic has already been delivered and commissions have been recorded in the affiliate system.

Amount in dispute

June 2026: €3,750.00
July 2026: €2,908.44
Total: €6,658.44

We have documentation for the entire timeline, including:

  • Telegram conversations
  • agreed commercial terms
  • placement confirmation
  • affiliate dashboard statistics
  • June and July commission reports
  • June invoice and cancellation
  • confirmation of the promised June payment date
  • subsequent communication regarding the traffic review
  • latest communication referring to fraud
We are happy to provide screenshots and documentation to anyone who wants to review the case.

We are not claiming that Emperia has no right to investigate traffic quality or fraud.

Our position is simply that if they are withholding the agreed CPA because of alleged fraudulent traffic, they should provide specific evidence and identify the contractual basis for doing so.

Has anyone here dealt with a similar situation with Emperia Partners, particularly regarding CPA being withheld after commissions were generated and subsequently changed to RevShare-only?

Any feedback or advice from experienced affiliates would be appreciated.

I hope you’ve signed a bespoke contract for this and that your traffic was legitimate (you’ve got nothing to feel guilty about)?

If that’s the case, great. Write to them saying that if they don’t sort this out, you’ll post about it publicly (all major iGaming related forums, social media, etc), naming the individuals (the fraudsters) by their full names + evidence of unpaid commission (screenshots), and you may even take legal action against them.

And if they start threatening you, saying you’re making their details public and that they might take some sort of action against you, just tell them that’s exactly what you’re waiting for – in other words, tell them to take it to court and not to forget to bring proof of payment of your outstanding commission with them – checkmate.

Any feedback or advice from experienced affiliates would be appreciated.

If the traffic was genuinely fraudulent, I think they should provide clear evidence showing which FTDs were affected and what terms were violated. Poor player value or profitability alone shouldn’t be treated as fraud or used to retrospectively change an agreed Hybrid deal to RevShare only, hope you get this resolved fairly

Exactly as you say. A poor-quality or unsatisfactory result does not exempt you from the obligation to pay the agreed sums. In other words, any contract entered into with due care must be honoured, and the fact that one party may suffer a loss is simply a risk of doing business. That’s all there is to it. There are no excuses.

Example: you go to a shop to buy some food and you don’t like the taste… you won’t get a refund for that, unless you can prove it was off.

I agree with that. If the traffic is not performing as expected, it's best to communicate it in a timely manner and discuss either a reduced offer or, if necessary, the termination of the partnership.

For now, the only update is that on August 27, we were told via Telegram that if we remove the post, they would be willing to reach an agreement with us and make the payment.

Our response was that, of course, we are willing to remove the post once the payment has been received. Unfortunately, due to the constant promises and delays we have experienced from the team, we can no longer fully rely on their word. Therefore, we would prefer to see the payment completed first, and once it has been received, we will of course comply with their request and remove the post.

However, since then, we have received neither the payment nor a single response from them.

This sort of blackmail/condition should be publicised all the more so that everyone knows who we’re dealing with.

Honestly, if they’re imposing such a condition on you, they don’t deserve any respect.

Hi! Yes, we understand that sometimes a partner may run into temporary financial difficulties. We’ve had a partner before where we waited more than six months for a payment, but there was continuous communication throughout the process, and we eventually received the full amount.

Unfortunately, the situation here is completely different. To this day, we haven’t received any response from them. They see and read our messages on Telegram but still don’t respond, even though there are three members in the group. They also don’t respond to our emails.

May I ask where else you heard that they are not paying their affiliates? We would like to look into it and see if other affiliates are experiencing similar problems with them.

Unfortunately, we still haven't received any response. Several people have viewed our messages on Telegram, but we have not received any meaningful reply or feedback. Should I upload the full conversation here so that the communication history and all of our attempts to reach out can be clearly seen?

There are a lot of scammers in this market... that's the truth...

I got scammed once 32k with JoinAff

Another time 9k with AffRepublic

And another time this year by 11k from N1Partners...

This casinos do whatever they want because this is an ilegal market even going trough legal 90% of the time doesn't do ssht.

If the manager have bad results on that month to save his own skin basically he tags some traffic has fraud to have good results at the end of the month...

I am in the industry for 5 years and i was already influencer and now manager so i know both side of the story!

Affiliates scamming operators and operators scamming Affiliates.

It doesn't make sense since is an industry that everyone can win!!

I Would never, ever!!! Scam an affiliate, if the traffic is delivered and it's good we keep if the traffic is bad we warn before escalate more.

I dont wait till the affiliate have 4/5k to stop the traffic so it recovers... that's how it should be!

If the traffic is bad on the 1st 20 FTD's you stop the campaign so the deposits increase etc and then resume it when results are back to good.

One thing is if they didn't pay you the 1st month you shoulndt onboard more traffic on the 2nd

Hi,

Thank you for your comment. I completely agree with you: poor-performing traffic should be stopped in time.

It's especially frustrating for us when we invest a significant amount of time, effort, and money into a campaign, only to end up not getting paid or being ignored altogether — which is unfortunately what is happening in our current case.

We do our part: we place the brand on our website, send out email campaigns, and push web notifications. There is only so much we can do to improve a brand's performance. If the brand itself is weak, has slow withdrawals, or provides a poor player experience, then naturally many players will try it once and never return. That is not something an affiliate can control.

On top of that, a single high-value player can significantly impact the results in either a positive or negative direction, so judging an entire campaign based solely on short-term statistics is often misleading.

What do you think we can do in our situation? In more than two years, we have never really experienced anything like what we are currently facing with Emperia Partners. We have had cases where we waited six months for a payment, but eventually it arrived.

In this case, however, our Telegram messages are being viewed regularly, but no meaningful response is provided. The last message we received was that if we remove everything from the forums, then they would be willing to discuss the matter with us.

This raises an obvious question: if the issue is genuinely fraud or low-quality traffic, what does that have to do with forum posts? Does the traffic suddenly stop being "fraudulent" simply because we remove public discussions about our experience?

From our perspective, that argument is very difficult to understand and does not appear to be a serious or professional way of handling the situation.
